Hi everyone! I just pre-ordered the new GHD Platinum after my T3 bit the dust after ~5years of service. I have a question about international travel with universal voltage stylers. I'm super excited for this styler because of its universal voltage feature. I'm going to Iceland this fall and have family in Europe. I was planning on buying a cheap flat iron in Iceland specifically for that vacation + future travels, rather than bringing my (now deceased) T3 and a step down/voltage converter because I know that's a recipe for disaster! (Too much trial and error! ) But since this new GHD styler is universal, I don't need to go that route! I'm wondering, have any of you traveled with a universal voltage flat iron? What kind of plug converter did you use with it? Will any old one off Amazon do? I'm in the US, so looking for details on products with US plugs used overseas. TIA!
Hello Lovelies, I just wanted to share my go-to hairstyle when I can't be bothered to shower and blow dry my hair and I want it to look cute/special. Things to consider: - My sister and I have curly hair. Much more effort is required to make curly hair pretty. At least in my opinion. - While my sister and I both have curly hair, we have very different textures so the results look different. Check out the picture below for what my hair looks like when I use this technique. - You don't have to straighten the ends of your sections, this is just a personal preference because I like the disheveled, didn't really try too hard, kind of look. - This technique is really to save time. This takes me about 10 minutes to complete on my mid length hair, it would take me about 20-25 minutes on my very long hair. This took about 30 minutes to film the video and do my sister's hair. Actual hair time was about 20 minutes, once you master your own hair, this will go much quicker. I made a video of the hair style HERE And now for some pictures!
