  1. I am a big proponent on organic and all natural products. Is anyone using any good brands? I've always been really concerned about the amount of chemicals that are in the products I use especially since most of my skincare is applied directly to my skin. I know that there are other people who feel this way, but is it purely placebo or is it actually good for you? For instance, my sister is more concerned with results than the effects of any toxins etc. Anyway, love to here what people think here. Best, Mikey
  2. Getting a clear skin can be a lot of work. There are several recommendations you can just google up but only a few have proven to be effective. We took our time to research some best practices that have worked over the years. 1. Reduce Sugar Consumption Sugar causes inflammation and this is visible on the skin leading to acne, dry skin, wrinkles. Cutting out sugar completely or reducing it to the barest minimal can really help 2. Stay Hydrated Water is very good. Stay Hydrated all day. Eat meals that contain avocado, olives, coconut etc. If possible, start your morning with a glass of fresh unsweetened coconut water. 3. Nourish your skin Switch from regular skin care soaps to products containing oils like almond oil. This can help cleanse your skin, clear up excess grease and make the skin glow. You can order one here 4. Reduce stress Aging, acne, eczema and other skin conditions are worsened by stress. Mediation, exercise are great practices to work towards having glowing skin. These practices are a great means to manage stress. 5. Improve skin with Aloe Vera Aloe Vera has antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and amazing healing properties, it penetrates the skin easily to provides nourishment. 6. Moisturise skin with Hyaluronic acid. Experiencing extreme weather conditions can leave your skin dull. Our skin also becomes unhealthy as we age. Hyaluronic acid can help repair a problem-prone skin. It helps hydrate the skin. This product here contains it.

  11. Can we somehow start one of these? Pretty please. There are tons of non-toxic beauty subscriptions now and new and old brands are coming up with cool non-toxic alternative products. I think we should all jump onto this wagon..
  12. Hello everyone, I have a light tan complexion (I am north Indian). I sometimes show up quite dark in pictures, but am typically compared to the average fair north Indian color and looking at my arms and face in real life and the mirror, I don't think I'm that much darker than this color...I like the tan complexion but I love very cute childish looks so I would like to wear a light baby pink colored lipstick once in a while but I think my skin is just a bit too tan for this (the light pink washes me out), so I was thinking about a way to go one or two shades lighter. However, most pictures of skin lightening before and after seem sickly and unnatural. Why is that? Why do people look best in their natural skin color only? Is there something different about the melanin distribution of a person who has naturally light skin with that of a person who takes something to reduce melanin? I've never seen a before and after with skin lightening that I thought the after looked healthier or more attractive. Is there a way to lighten that really seriously looks healthy and natural? If not, is there a way to wear light pink lips on slightly tan skin without washing out or looking fake?

  17. Drunk Elephant is a new skin care line at Sephora. It's said to be a natural skin care line without additives. It looks like it has pretty good reviews so far. Just wondering about this brand. Anyone heard about this brand or used their products yet? This night time Glycolic serum looks interesting.
  18. Hi! I currently have 5 single eyeshadows, a quad, and a paint pot that I am trying to re-home. These are all gently used, some used more than others. I have taken care of them and they come from a very clean home (and face). I recently went Animal Cruelty Free in my home so this is a product I am no longer using. The colors are so pretty, I hate to throw all of these away, it's over 150.00 in eyeshadow! If you have any questions, please feel free to ask! The singles are: Knight, Folie, Maira's Mood, Green Smoke, and Omega The Quad is: A Harves of Greens the Paint Pot is: Painterly I am just asking for $20.00 for all!
