  1. My latest find: an online store called Beautified You has beauty sample bags for $10.00. They are not a subscription - you purchase as you want, and they send different items all the time, depending on what is in stock. You can choose a bag for your skin type. I recently purchased the Normal/Oily/Blemish bag. They also have a Normal/Dry version, and a Normal/Sensitive version. I am very thrilled with my bag. I got deluxe and foil samples. Deluxe samples: Avene Redness Relief Dermo Cleansing Milk Jan Marini Bioglycolic Face Cleanser Glamglow Supermud Clearing Treatment YonKa Cleansing Milk YonKa Creme 15 iS Clincial Pro Heal Serum Advance Foil Samples: HydroPeptide Power Serum HydroPeptide Solar Defense SPF 50 demalogica special cleansing gel dermalogica skin prep scrub glo Pumpkin Enzyme Scrub glo Renew Serum I'm most excited for Avene and YonKa. I love French skin care. I've always wanted to try the YonKa brand. And it's handy to have foil packs of sun blocks and scrubs. and a Glamglow masque. I am planning to get some more bags soon!

  3. Hey everyone! I am looking for skin care samples so that I can try out new products and possibly find some great new additions to my skin care routine! I am mostly interested in higher end brands but I would also like to try inexpensive products as well. I am looking to trade and if any one is interested please list bellow things you would like to trade for. Thank you all so much!
  4. Target now has minis, sample size products available from various skin care lines. If you missed out on the Target Beauty Box, you can check out these. If you buy three you get one for free. Here is a link http://www.target.com/c/trial-size-ways-to-shop-beauty/-/N-4ucor#?lnk=L1L2_BEAUT_021_0_X0Y2W4_11_1_2016|X0Y2W4|T:Template%20B-DVM|C:CMS
  5. Hi there, I have a very sensitive skin and most of the products I buy (even those for sensitive skin) don't suit me causing an allergy. So every time it's a pain since I already bought a big pack of a cream or a serum. So, I'm wondering if there are any websites that sell cosmetics samples or mini-versions. I know you can get them for free in stores but many consultants are reluctant to give them away or there're just no samples for that particular brand. I also know there are subscription boxes like Birchbox but you never know what samples you'll get next time while I'd like to try a particular product. Searched online but really couldn't find. Can someone help me please? Have you seen any website that sell product samples? Thank you!
  6. Since I like shopping - a bit too much - its evident I like acquiring things. Since I have a significant stash of makeup and other beauty products its evident that I like having things. Though in sharp contrast to acquiring things and having things - I'm not using enough of the products I have so the accumulation has gotten a bit out of hand. Having a low-buy or a no-buy goal is only going to resolve half of my problem. My personal challenge - as listed below - is going to help me start to reduce my stash and I hope the reduction is significant. After all what's the point of having something -- unless you're going to use it?!?! In the first 100 days of 2015 - I want to generate at least 100 empties. My rules are as follows: Full-sized products and Deluxe-sized samples count as one item used. Two foil packets count as one item used (i.e. one shampoo foil + one conditioner foil = one item used). This is sort of a personal incentive to use the foil packets and just make them go away since I generally dislike foil packets and don't normally use them - hence the accumulation. That said I definitely don't want the majority of my empties to be from foils. Some products need to be tossed and replaced like eye lash primer, mascara, and liquid eyeliner though they may not be used until the product is gone - I generally toss and replace these products because I see them as expired. I will consider a full-sized pressed blush or a full-sized pressed eye shadow 'used' when I hit pan because I want to put a serious dent in my blush & eye shadow collection in 2015 and this is a good way to get started. The vast majority of products have to to be used until they're gone in order to count. If there is a sample that I don't like and don't use until its gone - I will toss it and it won't count for this challenge. If I accumulate 100 empties before 100 days is over, I will not stop. Rather, I will see how many additional empties I can generate. Through out the course of this challenge my empties are going to go in an empty identical bin so I can keep track of my empty container progress one item at a time. I will provide updates periodically and a final tally at the end. Sorry for the short notice ladies -- is anyone else up for another challenge?
  7. Hello All! I have a question about asking for free samples at beauty counters and stores like Sephora... My cousin Beth is having a bridal shower this weekend and she's a total beauty buff. She loves hair, makeup, the works. I'm not ashamed to admit that when choosing an outfit or doing my makeup I often think to myself "WWBW?" - "What Would Beth Wear?". So for part of her shower gift, I got her a cute cosmetic case set and a silver compact with her married initials monogrammed/engraved on it. So that's all cute, but then I had the idea to turn it into a little honeymoon/travel kit. I bought travel size toiletries, little bags of snacks, a cute pair of sunglasses, etc... Now, what I would like to do is get some free beauty samples to add to the kit...she could use them for travel and try out new products for the wedding day/honeymoon/her everyday life. So obviously, I'm after as many samples as I can get my hands on - BUT I don't want to be rude or seem greedy. My question is, do you guys think that I should just explain to the beauty associates that I'm looking for samples for a bridal shower gift, explain the honeymoon kit to them, and see what they can do for me? Or would they think that's rude because the samples aren't for me? I'm afraid they might think it's a line... Do you think that I would get more or less samples this way? Am I better off just asking for samples for myself? I just know this is an area where people take advantage and can be very rude...that is not at all my goal. I just want to be upfront and honest and see if they can help me...is that OK? Thanks in advance for any help you can give me!! Brandy
