  4. Ayurveda has been the way of life for many Indians. It is deep-rooted in our cultural practices which is only related to well-being. Ayurveda teaches us to believe in the natural surroundings. All of us are a part of the environment thus the remedies are also hidden in the surrounding itself. In the new age of well-being, it has changed from ingrained Ayurveda practices to believe in it. Now not many of us either are aware of the Ayurveda benefits in skin care regime or we never thought of exploring the Ayurveda universe. The uniqueness about Ayurveda skincare treatment is that it goes deeper than superficial issues. Ayurveda says that our bodies are made up of different constituents therefore, it's important to understand the constituents in order to come up with long term sustainable resolutions. Ayurveda has changed the way of skincare is being understood in today’s time. Chemical infused cosmetics are becoming an easier way out to rectify the skin issues but those cannot be permanent solutions. Ayurveda divides the skin into three different categories: Vatta, Pitta and Kapha. These three types of categories are based on inner and external traits. All three are influenced by various factors like food, seasonal changes, pollution, stress etc. Therefore, it's crucial to understand all three concepts to make sure a proper skincare regime is followed. Skin is the manifestation of our inner health. What goes inside our body is what will be shown on our skin. Thus, it's important to know which category you fall in. In fact, there are a few of the luxury cosmetic skin brands which are consciously using the three constituents to manufacture the best of the products. Brands like Forest Essentials are organic in nature. It has found its foundation in Ayurveda science which combines ancient beauty rituals along with modern beauty solutions. Adopting traditional formulations and methods of manufacturing, the brand uses only the purest, fresh seasonal, and natural ingredients. Though before using such products its important to understand which category you belong to: Vatta Vatta is synonym is to wind. It is the principal force of body and mind which keeps the entire mechanism in control. Because it has got air elements, the skin is generally dry as well as dehydrated. The skin is thin that it might start ageing earlier than others. Luxury ayurvedic essentials like Forest Essentials has mastered the art of manufacturing products with respect to doshas. Thus, they are effective as no one other. One with dry skin can also face acne issues for the longest time therefore, they are advised to use a moisturizer or hydrating gels. One can find sunscreen lotion made up of Coconut water infused with turmeric and basil leaf or Madurai Jasmine and Mogra. If someone has already started getting fine lines then should start using Sanjeevani Elixir Beauty regularly. They are also advised to drink plenty of water to keep themselves hydrated. Pitta Pitta is synonym is to fire. This dosha means there is a lot of heat and inflammation in the body which makes the skin to flare up. The skin is prone to freckles as well as moles. While they might not be oily all the time but because of the heat inside the body, they are generally warm. Warm skin needs to be cooled down frequently. Ayurveda skincare natural products like Sandalwood and Saffron night cream will help to calm the skin during the night or using Sandalwood and Nageskarlep/mask would help too. The skin of Pitta dosh should avoid eating oily food and increase intake of greens to balance the diet. Kapha Kapha is a synonym to earth. It is a thick or heavy skin which leads to easy clogging of dirt. The skin tends to be oily all over the face but cool from within. Blackheads are the main problems of such skin. Luxurious ayurvedic creams have got remedies for such skins. Such skin needs to clean and tone their skin on a daily basis to avoid dirt accumulation. One can use facial toners like Mist Panchpushp, Bella or pure water. In fact, Multani Mitti works as the best cleaners for such skin or even neem has been proven to be an effective ingredient. In today’s complex age, we need to understand the basics of skin science to deal with the problems.

  8. Everyone wants a clear, beautiful skin, but we often tend to neglect it for many reasons. Be it hectic schedules or just simply forgetting about it, many women do not follow a skin care routine as part of their daily life. This is very important to get a healthy, glowing skin. Even if you spend just a few minutes taking care of your skin every day, you can achieve the best results. Along with this, a healthy and balanced diet are vital for healthy skin. You may not think skin care routine is important. This is a myth. Your skin is one of the largest organs of your body and it works hard every day to protect you from harmful elements around. Developing a skin care routine is important because it can help this organ do its job better and longer. If you’re wonder why you should start a skin care regime, here are some good reasons why: Your skin sheds itself daily The reason why you experience changing skin with seasons is that your skin cells shed every day. This means the healthy skin you have in one season, will have shed in a couple of days. Not following a skin care regime can lead to dull, not so healthy skin. One of the best ways to renew your skin and keep it glowing is by using a scrub, which removes dead skin to reveal fresh, soft skin. We highly recommend this Activated Charcoal Scrub or this Orange Peel Scrub which have natural goodness and will keep your skin healthy. Every Skin is Different Some of you may have friends who have a great skin without following any kind of skin care regimes. However, they may be one of the few lucky ones. Not all skin types are same and everyone requires a different type of care than the next person. For this reason, a daily skin care routine is very important. At Sutatva Naturals, we help you find customizable skincare regimes that are best suited for your skin type and needs. Beautiful Skin needs some work The choices you make today will have a lifelong impact on your skin. Remember that beautiful skin is a lifelong process, and developing a daily skin care regime now can help you enjoy a beautiful skin 30 years from now. At the same time, negative skin care regimes can lead to early signs of aging, wrinkles and other problems. To avoid this negative effect, begin your skin care regime early on. Prevention is easier Taking time out to start and follow a skin care regime daily can help prevent potential skin problems. It can prevent your visits to the dermatologist later on as you will have a healthy, glowing skin with a skin care regime suited to your individual needs. Ask Sutatva experts for the right skin care products for you and they will help you set up a routine as per your skin type. Feel Good about Yourself Having a clean, clear and glowing skin can help boost your confidence and keep you looking your best. People notice your face first as soon as they meet you. A daily skin care regime can help you present your best face forward and give you the confidence that you always want. Helps establish discipline and other routines Adding a skin care routine to your other healthy living routines can help you develop better health habits all around. This includes better hair and scalp routine as well. At Sutatva, we also help you with diet tips and detox diet plans to boost your overall skin care regime so that it brings you the desired results. Now that you are aware of the importance of a daily skin care regime, you should also know HOW to follow a healthy routine. Here are some things that should be a part of your skin care regime. Cleanser: The right cleanser helps you wash off all the dirt, oil and makeup that has been resting on your face all day. Use a product that is natural and intended for your facial skin. Look for a gentle cleanser like Sutatva’s Handmade Rose Petal Gel which cleans your skin naturally, while toning and moisturizing it. Toner: A good cleanser should always be applied right after cleansing to replenish the skin of its lost moisture and nutrients. It soothes the skin and prepares it for the other products in your skin care regime. Choose a soothing toner like Sutatva’s Organic Rose Water which helps restore the skin’s natural balance after cleansing. Serum: If you really want to see the right effect, you can add a skin serum to your daily skincare routine. Serums are highly-concentrated, yet lightweight formulas that penetrate deep into the skin and address your skin problems effectively. One of the best choices for serums is Sutatva’s Golden Glow Face Serum, which has the power of 26 natural herbs and will give you the best result possible. It has been loved by women of every skin type and has become their favorite bedtime routine. Moisturizer: Following up your cleansing and toning with a good moisturizer can prevent your skin from drying out, keeping it nourished and smooth. It is important to choose a moisturizer that is best suited for your skin type. People with oily skin should choose gel based and oil-free ones like Sutatva’s Fresh Aloe Vera Gel. Those who have dry skin need thick, hydrating creams to lock in moisture for longer. Sunscreen: Make sure you always use sunscreen before stepping out, regardless of whether it is sunny or not. UV rays are the number one cause of wrinkles, uneven skin tone, skin sagging and other signs of aging. Look for a sunscreen that will protect you against both UVA and UVB rays. Scrub: A scrub acts as an exfoliant and gives your skin the extra care that you need. It can be used once or twice a week to get rid of skin buildup and remove dead cells. Scrubs help improve the skin’s texture and appearance. When it comes to skin care regimes, consistency is the key. By sticking to a dedicated skin care routine daily, you can see results in a few days. If you’re looking to start on a skin care routine, talk to our experts at Sutatva Naturals and we will guide you with the best natural skin care products that suit for your skin type. Keep Glowing.

  13. Skin care tips for men When it comes to skin care, men have traditionally kept it simple. However, more men are now pursuing healthier, younger-looking skin, making it a great time for men to evaluate their skin care routine and learn more about how to take care of their body’s largest organ. Although there are key differences between men and women’s skin – for example, men’s skin is thicker than women’s – the basic elements of an effective skin care plan remain the same. First, it’s important that everyone, including men, identify and understand their skin type: Sensitive skin may sting or burn after product use Normal skin is clear and not sensitive Dry skin is flaky, itchy or rough Oily skin is shiny and greasy Combination skin is dry in some areas and oily in others Understanding your skin type will help you learn how to take care of your skin and select skin care products that are right for you. To help men develop healthy skin care routines, dermatologists recommend the following tips: Consider product labels and ingredients: The skin care products you choose will depend on your skin type. If you have acne-prone skin, look for cleansers and moisturizers that say “oil free” or “non-comedogenic,” as these won’t clog your pores. If you have sensitive skin, use mild, “fragrance free” products, as products containing fragrances can leave skin feeling irritated and dry. However, beware of products labeled “unscented,” as many of these contain masking fragrances that can still irritate your skin. Wash your face daily and after exercise: Since regular bar soap often contains harsh ingredients that can be drying to the skin, wash your face with a mild facial cleanser and lukewarm – not hot – water. Watch your shaving technique: For some men, multi-blade razors can work too well or shave too closely to your skin. If you often experience razor bumps, razor burns or ingrown hairs, use a single- or double-blade razor instead and do not stretch your skin taut while shaving. Before you shave, wet your skin and hair to soften it. Use a moisturizing shaving cream and shave in the direction of hair growth. Rinse after each swipe of the razor, and change your blade after five to seven shaves to minimize irritation. Moisturize daily: Moisturizer works by trapping water in your skin, which can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and make your skin look brighter and younger. For the best results, apply moisturizer to your face and body immediately after bathing, showering or shaving while the skin is still damp. Check your skin regularly: New spots or moles that itch, bleed or change color are often early warning signs of skin cancer. If you notice any suspicious spots, make an appointment to see a dermatologist. Men over age 50 have a higher risk of developing melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer, than the general population. However, when caught early, skin cancer is highly treatable. Wear sunscreen whenever outdoors: To help prevent sun damage that can lead to wrinkles, age spots and even skin cancer, before going outdoors, apply sunscreen to all exposed areas of skin, including your scalp, ears, neck and lips. For best protection, use a broad-spectrum, water-resistant sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher and reapply every two hours or immediately after swimming or sweating. You can also protect your skin by seeking shade and wearing protective clothing, including sunglasses that have UV protection and wide-brimmed hats. >> Top 5 products to support the treatment of prostate hypertrophy most effectively on the market today

  23. I have been using the Clarisonic Mia 3 for a couple of months now. I was originally using the sensitive brush head that the device came with until the white bristles of the brush head turned blue! It happened after one wash, it was not a gradual thing. I washed it well, but the blue color is still there and I am not sure what's causing it. Otherwise, the brush head still works fine. I then purchased the radiance brush head because the sensitive brush head was still just a little too abrasive for my skin. The same thing happened to this one, too! I have never heard of this happening to anyone else. I only use the clarisonic with cetaphil cleanser. Could another product containing benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid be causing the discoloration? Is it some ingredient in my makeup? Has anyone else ever had this problem?
