    WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE BEAUTY TOOL???

Hi I'm Leah. I'm a blogger/youtuber and I do beauty reviews, campaigns and collaborations. I have been sent a lot of beauty/skincare tools over the last couple of years. Some I liked and some, not so much! (I have a derma roller story that's scary) My favorite beauty tool by far is the jade/rose quartz roller. I just absolutely love how they look, feel and all of their amazing benefits. They're pretty awesome in blog and Instagram posts as well. Which is never a bad thing! haha I love these rollers so much, that I decided to sell my own. I'll share a couple of video reviews/tutorials on my Miss Pettigrew Jade and Rose Quartz Roller Set down below. As some of you know, my set is so popular that it was sold out for the last few weeks (boo!) But it is NOW back in stock! Yay! And I decided to do a SUPER SALE for those who have messaged me and have been patiently waiting for them to come back in stock. Shop SALE HERE: https://amzn.to/2JpNit7 (Free 1 or 2 day shipping with Amazon Prime) I would also really love to know what your favorite beauty tool is. I'm kind of obsessed with beauty tools at this point and I'm always looking to try new tools. Maybe you'll give me the idea I need for my next product!

Simple Ways To Keep your skin fresh

The face is a canvas for makeup, and good skincare will keep your canvas in tip-top condition. Laura Mercier suggests five very simple steps for women of all ages to follow religiously in order to keep facial skin smooth and glowing, with or without makeup! Step 1: Never wear makeup to bed! Having grown up with some women who wore their makeup to bed, Laura has seen the toll it can take on the skin. Good cleansing can clear away a good deal of makeup, but Laura suggests also using a makeup remover especially for the eyes—one that conditions the eye area's delicate skin while removing all traces of makeup. Step 2: Cleanse thoroughly, morning and night, with a gentle cleanser or cream that doesn’t contain perfumes or harsh artificial additives. By cleansing, you'll eliminate dirt and clear your pores, letting skin breathe. Step 3: Rinse very well every time you wash your face. Splash, splash, splash the water over your entire face and neck until all remnants of the soap and makeup are down the drain. Step 4: Use an alcohol-free toner if you have oily skin to gently clear away excess oil and smooth skin. Laura says she "is against anyone using alcohol on their skin to get rid of oil." Alcohol is harsh and dries skin, which then causes oil glands to overcompensate by producing more oil. "Many women don't realize that skin can be oily and dehydrated at the same time," Laura explains. "If you've wiped all the oil away, your skin may appear dry while your oil glands are activating under the skin and ready to compensate for the dryness." continue

  8. Hey babes! First of all, this post is just based on my personal experience, i just hope that i can share some of my online shopping knowledge because recently i really got a lot of useful information in makeuptalk! Gmarket global site Pros: Sellers including original seller, which means if any promotion running in Korea, you can enjoy the local price and promo discounted price as foreigner. Cons: EMS only, pricey shipping 11street English site Pros: Similar like Ebay, also Gmarket. You can access the English global site to purchase from Korea sellers including original seller, or your own country site for faster shipping. Cons: English global site only offer EMS, and seller from your country may have higher selling price. Yesstyle Pros: You can purchase beauty products together with Korean fashion items. Offers both EMS and standard shipping, free shipping available. Cons: Slightly pricey, poor product information. More to fashion focus. Koreadepart Pros: For shipping is similar to Yesstyle, but they more focus on cosmetics. Good price for certain items and rich information. Cons: Pricey standard shipping cost, and high order amount to reach free shipping. Beautynetkorea Pros: Offers free shipping but without tracking for any amount of purchase. EMS and standard is available. Rich information. Cons: Limited brands and products. Medium price range. Roseroseshop Pros: If you're looking for good price only, this is the right place. EMS and Standard shipping available. Cons: Some latest brand not available. Good price only for certain brands. Seoulcheap Pros: Similar to roseroseshop but more brands, free shipping available. Rich information. Can request any desired products. Cons: New website, shopping platform still under maintenance. Sokoglam Pros: Blog to read, free shipping available. Rich information. Cons: Pricey compared with others. Of course there are more shopping sites for Korean beauty products, some are quite similar with those i mentioned like jolse, ibbi. I personally recommend seoulcheap, they have reasonable price and information. Don't judge book by its cover I hope you can comment with your favorite one and let's improve this community ^^
  9. Hello everyone, as the title suggests, I am wondering what night cream I should start using. There are so many products out there, it is impossible to research them all to find out what might work best to try. So I am looking for advice from you girls and open to any suggestions of what works best for you. I will begin by saying that I am 20 years old (female) and I have never used a night cream before, but realise it will be a good step to add into my daily routine. What I am looking for is a product with antioxidants to eliminate the daily stress and toxins that the skin might have picked up. I also favour products that are enriched with vitamins. I need something that works to keep skin clear as sometimes my skin is okay, but other times I can break out badly (not even sure why, my skin is pretty random). I am concerned that if I overuse a product (i.e get in a pattern of using it every day), that my skin will rely on it to stay healthy. I like the idea of maintaining radiant skin and products being an addition to this that compliment it and my skin won't misbehave if I end up missing it out a night or so. I have tried a few acne prone treatment products and in some cases found my skin worse - maybe it was too harsh as I have delicate skin - or maybe it was my skin getting used to it, who knows, but it has put me off a bit. I prefer products with fewer chemicals and that is a lot more natural based. I would choose water-based products because I feel I am less likely to break out over oil-based ones, whilst hydrating my skin. My skin type has always been on the drier side, but it doesn't bother me a lot because it feels nice after using just a drop of moisturiser. I always use highly hydrating moisturiser and let that get to work. The product that is standing out to me is the Revaléskin Night Cream. What are your reviews/opinions on this particular product if you've tried it? I particularly like the fact this product contains CoffeeBerry whole fruit extract, which protects the skin cells from free radical damage as I am guilty of going tanning now and again. At this present time, it would be important for me to have this in a product for me (whether it is in a night cream or of separate usage). I don't mind investing in good products if it is going to make a difference in my overall health and appearance. However, I don't want to spend a lot of money if it isn't worth all the hype and if there are similar products out there to try first. Thank you for taking your time to read and reply.

  13. According to hair experts, losing 50-100 strands of hair every day is fairly normal. It is only a cause of concern when you lose more than that. But you can stop hair fall in its tracks with these simple home remedies. Here i found something which may help you out. 1. Coconut Coconut only does it promote hair growth, but also conditions it. It has essential fats, minerals and proteins which reduce hair breakage and is also rich in potassium and iron. You can use coconut oil or milk to prevent hair fall. 2. Onion juice Onion is a rich source of sulfur which helps in hair growth by increasing collagen production. Using its juice on the scalp can help in controlling hair fall. 3. Henna Henna is mostly used as a natural hair color or conditioner but henna has properties that can strengthen your hair from the root. If you combine it with other ingredients, it makes for a better hair pack. 4. Garlic Like onion, garlic too has high sulfur content. This is the reason why it is used in traditional hair regrowth medicines. You’d be surprised to know these beauty benefits of garlic. 5. Hibiscus Also called shoe flower, hibiscus nourishes hair, prevents premature greying, treats dandruff and also controls hair fall. Resource: fullyreviews.com
  14. Skin concerns describe a condition or occurrence outside of your skin’s natural moisture levels i.e. acne, wrinkles & fine lines, dehydrated, sensitivity, dullness, uneven tone, hyperpigmentation. The best way to identify your skin concerns is to think about what struggles you have had with your skin consistently over the past 3 months. Sensitive Skin Skin sensitivity is a complex skin concern that can be caused by many reasons. Some people have naturally sensitive skin, some may have sensitivity as a result of other skin conditions such as rosacea, allergies, side effect from a product, etc. Skin reacts to common ingredients so is prone to inflammation and irritation. Skin is often dry. When irritated, skin can be red and patchy, redness spots, prone to rashes and irritation, may feel itching or burning. Avoid products with alcohol and fragrances as this can often trigger irritation. Find out what triggers are and avoid them. Skin tends to burn easily and has a tendency for redness or rosacea. TIPS: use gentle, low pH cleansers without harsh surfactants, avoid skincare products that contain fragrance or alcohol. Try using a konjac sponge to cleanse the skin. It is non-abrasive and can be used alone with water to gently cleanse the skin to reveal a radiant completion. Soothing, anti-inflammatory ingredients are beneficial. Regular application of gentle, hydrating skincare products and sun protection is essential for the care of sensitive skin. Product keywords: Calming, soothing, gentle, sensitive, ultra-sensitive Product ingredients: Aloe vera, chamomile, cucumber, green tea, honey, oatmeal Acne Acne can manifest as blackheads, whiteheads, cystic acne, closed comedones, or some combination of the above. Acne can be caused by many factors i.e. genetics, hormones (pregnancy, menstrual cycle, hormonal birth control), climate, product sensitivities, etc. Acne often occurs in conjunction with other skin concerns i.e. sensitivity and hyperpigmentation are common additional concerns for acne sufferers. TIPS: Gentle care, patience and consistency will balance any type of acne. If you only have one blemish every once in a while it is not considered acne but should still be gently treated with a spot treatment. Using an entire line of anti-acne products can be harsh on the skin. Start with an essence or serum designed for acne while keeping the rest of your routine optimized for other skin concerns. Product keywords: Trouble, blemish, pore, clear, tea tree, spot, BHA Product ingredients: Tea tree, honey, propolis, snail secretion filtrate, clay, charcoal, aloe vera To learn more, click here https://www.ecobeautylife.com/skin-concerns/

    Glass Skin

Hello guys, So there's this trend going around which is called "glass skin" it originated from Korea. Basically is it smooth, clean, translucent skin - I would say this trend is not new as such as this look has been popular for a long time just with a different name to it. I know some people may not like the look of this as it might look like basically sweaty and oily face - but I also see how it appeals to people because who wouldn't like having clear and smooth skin like a baby face. I just want to know what you guys think of this? I have attempted the glass skin, by all means you don't need to watch it but all love and supported would be appreciated! Thank you and hope you guys are having a lovely day!

  19. Both dermatologists and cosmetologists assert that, if you want to always maintain your face skin in a perfect state, you should adjust your skincare routine to every season, because your skin reacts differently on different climate conditions. In this article we will pay attention to summer-spring season, and will define, which procedures and skin care manipulations are the best, and which you should avoid in this period. During the cold seasons, dermatologists suggest using strong moisturizing products to fight with dryness caused by the cold, however, starting from spring, it is recommended to switch to a lighter moisturizer to avoid extra skin oiling, which frequently results in a large amount of clogged pores. Thus, during spring and summer, give your preference to serum based or oil-free products, to maintain oil balance of your skin. When sun is shining, it is also necessary to not forget to defend your skin from the sun influence. Remember that direct sun rays are highly dangerous for the skin. Their influence can lead to the appearance of additional wrinkles and spots on the skin. In this respect, dermatologists insist on using products with SPF 30-50. These advices are important to adhere to not only with skin care products, but also with your make-up products. Especially during the hot summer period, try to avoid heavy textures. This rule applies to your primer, foundation and powder. Of course, it would be better to limit make-up I summer, however, if it impossible for you not to apply any make up, you should at least apply right products suitable for warm weather. In addition to skincare you provide at home, you should also be familiar with cosmetic procedures, which are recommended to do in spring-summer period and which are not. For example, if you decide to do botox nyc injections, the best time to do it will be spring, as in climate whether your skin is not so sensitive and more hydrated that is the light skin irritation caused by the needle after botox procedures will fade way more quickly. This rule applies to all other face fillers. Among the procedures which you are not recommended to do during warm season are strong acid peeling. The procedure represents a treatment during which an acid solution is applied to remove dead skin cells and damaged layers of the skin. The next week after the procedure, a patient must avoid direct sun rays, that is why it is better to execute such procedures during cold weather, when the sun is not so strong. There are also different opinions about laser hair removal. Certain people consider that hot weather can have a negative influence on skin after the procedure of laser epilation, however, according to the majority of cosmetologists and dermatologists laser hair removal is the procedure, which can be executed in any season. Thus, summarizing the provided information, we can say that, of course, every woman wants her skin to be perfect in every season and anyone can reach that by using proper products and right procedures during every season. Treat your skin well, and it will certainly pay you back.

  22. I ran across this great post about how to apply and use a sheet mask. This post is written by the Glow founder, Christine. Here are some of the main points: Always clean the skin first. Mist the skin before applying the mask. The wetness on the skin will help the ingredients from the mask to absorb better. See the whole post below explaining the whole process. I’ve never done the misting but will now. 😊
