With school and work back in full swing now that the holidays are over, you may be feeling a little overwhelmed trying to keep up with all you have to do! It’s totally normal to get stressed out as your to-do list grows, so don’t worry. Just follow these 5 steps to make sure you have a stress-free. Prioritize Your Health It may seem impossible, but you have to put your body and mind first in order to live a stress-free life! If you’re super hungry, not exercising, and running on 4 hours of sleep, chances are you are going to feel sluggish, and may even end up getting sick. Don’t See Stress As A Negative Thing If you correlate stress with negative emotions, of course you’re going to feel down and depressed! But, if you start to view stress as a positive thing, it won’t affect your mental health nearly as much, if at all! How can you view stress as positive, you ask? Being stressed means you are living a fulfilling life! Don’t Hang Out With People Who Stress You Out If you have a friend, co-worker, or relative that always seems to stress you out, try to avoid spending long periods of time with them while you already have a lot on your plate. It’s OK to say no, especially if you are looking out for your happiness and mental health! Don’t Be Afraid To Ask For Help If you’re extremely overwhelmed, it’s OK to reach out to a friend or family member for help. Don’t feel like you have to do it all by yourself! Having someone watch your kids for the evening or asking a classmate for help when you’re struggling are simple things that can release so much stress! Get Organized If you have a lot of clutter, either at home or at work, it can add to your stress level – even if you don’t realize it! By cleaning up, getting organized, and creating some sort of schedule for yourself, you’ll feel much better.

Our skin is a very sensitive organ of the body. Every day it goes through environment changes, temperature fluctuations, pollution, and dirt. While tackling with all of them, it has a great responsibility to secrete oils and sweat to protect itself from the outside world and maintain the body temperature. Basically, at the end of the day it not only gets exhausted, but goes into a dire need of nutrients to replenish its energy. A chemical product may give your skin instant glow, but it becomes a crutch. It makes our skin dependent upon chemical based products so much that if the product is not used, the skin starts falling into the worst conditions like dryness, acne, excess oils etc. Hence, plant based skin care brands are emerging to bring you a better option that will replenish all the natural oils and nutrients of your skin and make it naturally healthy. The natural and plant-based skin care products do not have harmful toxins that your body might intake through the epidermis’ habit of absorbing whatever is applied on it. A product like – the rejuvenator dry oil emulsion is made only of natural ingredients like apple stem cell, natural oils and herbs. After a long day, they provide your skin hydration, phytonutrients, and boost cell protection and collagen. Intake of these products through the skin is completely safe because they share the same biological chemistry as our bodies and blend in.

Whether you’re a college girl who will be waking up for an 8am class and going out at night, or a super mom who will be juggling work, taking her kids to school, making dinner, and soccer games, makeup that lasts all day is extremely beneficial! Who wants to worry about reapplying five times a day? If you follow these tips, you can put on your makeup in the morning and not have to worry about those annoying touch ups! Start With a Clean Face Applying makeup to a fresh face is the best way to make it last. Make sure you remove your makeup at night and then wash your face in the morning before putting on your makeup. It’s also a great idea to use a good moisturizer, such as our Citrus Stem Cell Intense Moisture Lock Creme. It helps improve skin’s complexion, elasticity, and texture, and also smooths wrinkles. Use a Primer – On Your Face and Your Lids Makeup primer makes the perfect base because it helps minimize pores, erase imperfections, and makes your makeup look better and last longer. Make sure aside from using a basic primer that you use an eye primer as well. It’s a must if you are wearing eyeshadow or liner so that it looks as clean and crisp at night as it did when you first put it on! Choose Oil-Free, Long Lasting Products The products you choose make a huge difference. Products that aren’t oil-free may not last as long because the oils will eventually make them fade. Go ahead and spend that extra $2 for the foundation that says “long lasting.” It’s worth it! Don’t Forget Pressed Powder and Setting Spray Once your look is complete, finish your look with a pressed finishing powder and setting spray! These products are designed to keep your makeup in place and also help remove any excess oil. Keep Your Hands Away From the Finished Product Try not to touch your face throughout the day! Not only can touching your face lead to breakouts, but the oils on your skin will remove your makeup.
