Since Im a movie buff, I was browsing the other nights for some horror and thriller movies.I came across this movie called ' The Girl Next Door'. I was surprised that this movie was classified under horro genre, then I remembered watching it yrs ago where Elisha Cuthbert would be in it as a soft porn actress. Its a comedy movie. But this is a totally different movie with the same title.Apparently its based on a true story abt a young girl whom got tortured and killed.Since most of the horror movie I came across that night are crappy and sloppy, I opted to watch this

The narration is nice, thus the flashback brought us to 5O's era.Its pretty disturbing how a young innocent girl who've lost both her parents were placed  with her aunt's,she'll be torturing mentally and physically the poor girl and her handicapped sister with her 3 adolescent boys! Althou I disagree with some caning scenes of the handicapped girl by the ferocious aunt, stripping the girl in front of the boys oh my...

Ive seen many gore movies like Hostel, Texas Chainsaw Massacre but this one is still disturbing althou there's no any gore scene.

Just tot of sharing wt you guys here! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Has anyone seen this muvie?

I didn't see the movie, but I read the book. It was horrific, and really upset me. I read a lot of books, including horror, but this one did not sit well with me. I got rid of it.I did see that they made a movie as well, but the book got me so upset that there was no way I would watch the movie!!!!! I don't know if the movie's ending differs from the book, but the books ending was not a happy one....so I totally know what you are talking about! So disturbing!!!!!

Oh wow....The Girl Next Door that I know is a romance comedy....but I don't think I would ever watch this version of the movie.  I am too weak hearted and can't stomach those things.  Like...seriously...who comes up with these concepts?  People sure have some sick twisted minds!

My BF and I both watched this movie.  It's one that sticks with you for a long time.  We also watch a ton of horror movies, and this is by far a sick twisted movie.  I think the hard part about it is that you know the whole time that it's a true story.  It will haunt you.

The actual story is from the movie An American Crime with Ellen Page.  I refuse to watch it.
