I agree with all of the other ladies' fabulous suggestions, but I would also add a sense of fun. Every girl should have a sense of fun and feel beautiful when it comes to applying and buying makeup. Totally, OT, Liz, have you ever been (I'm sure you have) told you look like the girl who plays or used to play "Chloe" on Days of Our Lives?

MAKEUP

Um, anyone with acne and oily skin like me needs:

* Foundation

* Concealor

* Loose powder

But now to pick only 2 more items?!

Definitely mascara, and I guess a good lipstick or gloss to add a bit of color ... but I really want to add eyeshadow and eyeliner (colored for me, never black!) to the list too! :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

BRUSHES

I think I only have 5 brushes that I use on a regular basis, lol

* Small eyeshadow brush (a good one can be used to cover the whole lid in color, apply crease color by using the side of the brush, blending, etc.)

* Angle brush (for applying eyeshadow as an eyeliner and making that "wing" in a cat-eye look)

* Powder brush

* Concealor brush

* Small contour brush (an angled brush a little smaller than a blush brush, which I use to apply loose powder in places that's hard to get with a powder brush, like under my eyes to set my concealor)

I also think an eyelash curler is essential for small-eyed girls like myself :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Sorry to say I'm not too into brushes aside from the large Kabuki one I use to apply my Jurlique powder, so I'll keep my list a bit on the general side! :icon_redf

[*][*]Intense, high-SPF/PPD/IPD sunscreen, head to toe, every day without fail - it's the ultimate anti-wrinkle cream.[*]Shimmery lip glosses in every shade for every possible occasion. I love the sparkly ones for photos because even the clear shades photograph beautifully.[*]The best lash curler you can find. For me, that's been Shu Uemura so far - but I'm open to suggestions! I hear Kevin Aucoin's is good ...[*]An airbrush foundation for special occasions. Sally Hansen makes a great one, as does Dior. To me, neither brand is better than the other. I just wish the manufacturers would expand on these very limited shades; I'm pretty fair, so I have to wear self-tanners to be able to carry off even the lightest one.[*](For hair) Velcro rollers. I think this is such a great, inexpensive, no-heat, no-clips-necessary way to get your hair in fabulous order for the day. Wash hair, wait until almost completely dry, spritz sections with just a bit of alcohol-free gel or mousse (whatever's best for your hair), set, and remove when completely dry. Finger-style.

So much more!
