Laura requested a tutorial on the look I did today, so here goes. I've never done a tutorial, so hopefully this turns out all right! The coloring in some of the pics is different because I forgot to switch the setting to macro. Plus, I'm in dire need of a new camera. :p

Start with a clean face.

Put L'Oreal De-Crease on as a primer and blend with ring finger.

After the primer application.

Apply (press, don't sweep) Milani Atlantis to the outer third of the eyelid and apply MAC Shimmermoss on top of it. I used a MAC 213SE brush, but any shadow brush should do.

Apply (press, don't sweep) MAC Swimming to the middle third of the eyelid and apply Milani Garden Mist on top of it. I used the same MAC 213SE brush.

Apply Urban Decay Rust to the inner third of eyelid. Same MAC 213SE brush.

This is what it should look like so far.

IMG_2536.jpg

Apply MAC Amber Lights just above the crease. Same MAC 213 SE brush.

IMG_2537.jpg

Apply MAC Shroom as a highlight. (I didn't get a pic of this.) Then blend, blend, blend. I used the same MAC 213 SE brush for most of the blending. Then I switched to a larger, slightly denser shadow brush (some cheapo one I got at an esthetics convention) and swept it gently over the entire lid.

One eye blended, one eye not.

Apply Milani Atlantis to outer third of lower lash line. I used a small synthetic angled brush I got as a GWP.

Apply Milani Garden Mist to middle of lower lash line and then Urban Decay Rust to inner portion of lower lash line. Used same GWP brush.

Line the top lashline and bottom waterline with Almay Amazing I-Liner in Precise Black.

Curl your lashes.

Apply a lash primer. I used Maybelline XXL Primer.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v280/xeniba/Makeup%20Looks/Tutorial%201/IMG_2546.jpg

Apply 2-3 coats of mascara. I used one coat each of Clinique High Impact, Lancome Hypnose, and Lancome Flextencils, all in Black.

Fill in brows. I used Benefit Brow Zing in Dark with Urban Decay's Brow Brush.

I applied my concealer and foundation after curling my lashes, but before putting on the primer or mascara. I always do my mascara and brows last so that I don't get any powder in them.

Here's the finished look.
