Hmm... to me.. I would try for my hair since its slightly wavy anyways..
Root Lifter.. maybe a LITTLE teasing at the crown
Blowdryer of course
Large Barrel Curling Iron
Hairspray.
Maybe some spray wax for definition.. or the beach spray stuff.

She also has a lot of layers cut into her hair.. and I don't know how your hair is cut.. so its gonna be different.
I tend to favor hairstyles w/tons of layers cut into them.

I agree extensions, and a bump it. You could probably do large rollers as well for body and volume.
