FOTD July 19, 2011

Today I had to be up and about from 5am-11am so I knew I had to do something super fun with the makeup to keep me looking alive! This is a new look for me so I did end up wiping off this lipstick and going for something different which looked WORLDS better... I'll include info for both. =]

Lips:
In this pic I am wearing NARS scarlett empress, but I ended up wiping it off and using Bobbi brown lipliner in Flamingo (which is a toned down peachy pink) and Lancome Tickled Pink juicy tubes, a semi sheer jelly finish gloss. It looked awesome!

Eyes:
Urban Decay shadows: Chronic, Purple Haze, Cult, Radium, Midnight Cowboy Rides Again
MAC pigment: Kitschmas (a little too frosty for my liking as a highlight, something like MAC vanilla would've been nicer)
Blue prestige liquid liner
Stila kajul liner in Topaz

Thank you Tis!  I think this is a red that would look good on most women.  It looks dark on me because of the lip crayon I used under it, but it's a little lighter on it's own and has a blue undertone, which to me suits most skin tones.  For $1 it's worth a try!

This look was inspired by the Vampire Queen from True Blood Season 3. It's a little dramatic, even for me, but I loved it so much on her that I really wanted to try it.

I faded in Sugarpill's Poison Plum eyeshadow and used Revlon Grow Luscious Plumping mascara on top and Rimmel Lash Accelerator on bottom for a simple look today.

that's such a steal! i havent had much success with red lipstick's in the past. i may have to try that one out
