FOTD October 7, 2011

I went for a more subtle look today with softer eyeshadow, no eyeliner, nude lip and soft blush.  I don't dislike it, I just think I'm not used to it.  I think if I had eyeliner on it would look a little better.  One thing I can say, my lashes look longer with no eyeliner. I'm confused, I thought eyeliner was supposed to make our eyelashes look longer???  Hope you all have a great weekend!!

I had conferences today so I went loud.  

Eyes- UD PP, Blue- mix of UD Deep end and Sugarpill Afterparty, Sugarpill Poison plum in my crease toped with Sugarpill Midori (green) as well as used some under my eyes.  UD Blackout in my outer crease.  Maybelline black liner onyx, ardell half lash set, CG lash blast mascara in black. 

Face- bareminerals in fairly light (photoshopped out a blemish)

lips- i did have some OCC liptar on earlier but that was chewed off long long ago.  

Hair- manic panic purple and raw true blue

I am obsessed with blue lately!!

@Dream, I think you are going to have to buy that lipstick or find a good dupe for it, because it looks AMAZING on you!

@Lauren, OMG that smokey blue looks so good!   It seriously makes your eyes pop!

I really like using blue with my brown eyes.  It really drowns out the other colors and brings out the reddish warmpth

Am I the only one who thinks that MAC Violetta resembles Revlon Wild Orchid a tiny bit? Wild Orchid is a tiny bit more fuschia, but it could be toned down with a blue tinted gloss

Thanks! I really like the palette. For the price (under $10) you can't go wrong. It's pretty comparable to anything else in its price range. I'll try to do some swatches next week.
