Hair extensions can be broken up into two basic types.one is natural or "virgin" hair extensions which are made of real hair , the price is high. The other type is synthetic hair extensions these can be very convenient as a lot of the extensions come with clips that you can just clip in your hair and go. Synthetic extensions are also much cheaper than natural hair extensions.    Which one you will choose

I would go with the real extentions. I've never worn a weave/ extentions (whatever they are called; I'm unsure) before. I googled about synthetic hair and many people say that it takes the hair out. The weave/ extention etc. seem so troublesome. I'll just stick with my fro; it makes me very happy!

Well other than the two types - made from real hair and synthetic - there are several ways to apply the hair. Bonding/gluing I would think would be the one to where people say it "takes the hair out". Sewing in wefts or using some kind of link to attach the hair shouldn't hurt the natural hair if done properly. That's the key - getting it done properly.
