Just read another post and saw a tutorial done by a celebrity makeup artist in LA named Monika Blunder.

I LOVE her Rosie Huntington-Whitely look. That's a really hot look for a night out. I'm sort of new to this whole makeup thing and really enjoy these tutorials. To those interested, here you go!

Hello everyone!
My name is Anna and I'm from Russia.

In 2011 I started my youtube channel as Lipo4kaBeauty and from this spring I make my videos there. All videos are in Russian for now just because I too shy to speak English, it is not my native language and I make mistakes.

Lipo4ka (spells like lipochka) is a name of one famous Russian girl in one of the theatrical plays by Ostrovsky. I just like this name...and most part of my friends call me lipochka ( 4 is similar in prononce to "ch")

I have a beauty channel! I haven't posted a lot of makeup tutorials because I'm trying to invest in a better lighting and video editing system which is not cheap....lol. Anyway I do have some makeup looks up! But I love doing vlogs and tag videos as well! icon_cheesygrin.gif

Hi guys :) I want to make a beauty channel on youtube. I'm kinda stuck on coming up with a name though. Any suggestions? These are what I've came up with so far:

  • KayTheBeautycutie

  • KaysPassionforfashion

  • KayTheBlushingBeauty

  • DailyDoseOfKayleigh

  • Diamondsandpearls97

  • KayleighLovesFashion

Which is your favorite? If you have any other ideas, please let me know. My name is Kayleigh and I'm almost 16. Some of my favorite makeup brands are NYX and Mac. I shop at ulta and sephora often. I don't want to make my name too cheesy. Thanks so much :))

I don't feel like many gurus have usernames that are directly related to fashion or makeup, but I understand if you want it to. :) the dailydose username is cute ;)

Hi All,

So I have a youtube channel as well. I do some work within the fashion/arts industry (I also have done some work in Asia) - I have to admit I'm pretty bad at applying makeup on myself, yet alone other people, so I work with other makeup artists and models but do the filming, editing and storyboarding based on the trends that are in Australia and other places :)  I'm more towards budgeted and straight to the point tutorials, I also film fashion shoots I took part in, travel interviews with foreign models and also some of my charity work - these tutorials are something I love doing but a learning curve as I get more comfortable with filming.

I would love some subscribers, some feedback and always interested in meeting new youtubers too (feel free to leave me a link to your work).

    • Our skin is a very sensitive organ of the body. Every day it goes through environment changes, temperature fluctuations, pollution, and dirt. While tackling with all of them, it has a great responsibility to secrete oils and sweat to protect itself from the outside world and maintain the body temperature. Basically, at the end of the day it not only gets exhausted, but goes into a dire need of nutrients to replenish its energy. A chemical product may give your skin instant glow, but it becomes a crutch. It makes our skin dependent upon chemical based products so much that if the product is not used, the skin starts falling into the worst conditions like dryness, acne, excess oils etc. Hence, plant based skin care brands are emerging to bring you a better option that will replenish all the natural oils and nutrients of your skin and make it naturally healthy. The natural and plant-based skin care products do not have harmful toxins that your body might intake through the epidermis’ habit of absorbing whatever is applied on it. A product like – the rejuvenator dry oil emulsion is made only of natural ingredients like apple stem cell, natural oils and herbs. After a long day, they provide your skin hydration, phytonutrients, and boost cell protection and collagen. Intake of these products through the skin is completely safe because they share the same biological chemistry as our bodies and blend in.

    • I suppose it’s an indication of little I used to think about sleep that it never occurred to me my sleeping position was in anyway abnormal. I fall asleep on my right hand side then often sleep on my stomach, head to one side if I wake up during the night. Turns out only about 7% of the population do this.   But is there a ‘best side’ to sleep on? The jury seems to be out but there are pros and cons to each sleeping position   If you sleep on your back (which I rarely do) it’s apparently good for your spine and preventing acid reflux but you are more likely to snore. On the other hand it may “maintain perky breasts” according to this article on the CNN website. (Probably not if you’ve had a couple of kids, I’d suggest)   Sleeping on your side – right or left – apparently makes it easier to breathe and helps to avoid heartburn and acid reflux. It also tends to be the most comfortable position if you’re pregnant, especially with a body pillow. However curling up in a foetal position is not good for your neck or spine.   Some experts say you’re better to sleep on your right hand side if you have a cardiac condition as it puts less stress on the heart. On the other hand sleeping on your left may be better for your liver and kidneys.   Sleeping on your front can put strain on your neck though this can be alleviated if you only have one or no pillows. (According to the Better Sleep Council this position makes me brash, outgoing, and very uncomfortable with criticism!)   On the other hand a recent survey came up with the finding that sleeping on the left of the bed (which I invariably do) makes you more cheerful and positive – but not as financially well off as those who sleep on the right. According to the ... er... Daily Mail.   In the absence of any consensus it seems to me that there’s no reason to change your sleeping position if you sleep well or haven’t been advised to alter it by your doctor. On the other hand if you sleep badly – or snore loudly – it could be worth trying to make a change.    So what are you – a side, a back or a stomach sleeper and have you ever managed to change the way you sleep? Read more information about the best mattress for sleeping. Good luck!
