Maven box billing

This is my first month receiving a Maven box, and I was wondering when we're billed for it. Do they bill the same day they ship?

(I apologize if this has been answered elsewhere - I did a quick look, but didn't see anything about billing)

Quote: When will my credit card be charged? Your card is charged when you place your initial Julep Maven order. If you sign up before the 18th of the month, you will be charged again on the 27th for the next month's box. If you sign up after the 18th of the month, you will be charged again on the 27th of the following month.
