I'm new to the beauty industry and a little foggy on the best ways to find someone that I may shadow or how I can get an internship somehow. I feel that it is very hard to get experience when you do not know who to go to or where to begin. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 

 
If you live in one of the major cities that does make it easier to find someone. Vogueboy would be best to ask since he works in the industry however my opinion is that you should attend trade shows and start networking.

 
Thank you, so much. I actually live in NYC. Do you know of any artists here? What's the best approach?
