My first AHA product ever was Peter Thomas Roth Glycolic 10% Moisturizer just this winter. I wish I had started using AHA much much earlier as lately this is the only thing that works to help control my acne! Since then I've found other, low-cost alternatives that work well and are better for oily skin (the PTR is lovely but of a creamy consistency better for dry skin).
c. booth (found at Rite Aid) has a nice 10% AHA liquid
Alpha Hydrox is great too, I'm using their 14% AHA pads once a week, and the 12%AHA souffle as a spot treatment. (found at Ulta or drugstore.com)
Planning on trying Glycolix 20% pads sometime, these can be found on various skincare online retail sites like dermstore.com
