Does this work for cystic acne?   Anyone used it?   I seen reviews on amazon that says it works but on makeupalley many mention it doesn't. They say its a small bottle and its very weird to put on the pimples. Does it work for inflamed pimple cysts?

I seen someone mentioned it works for cysts that hasn't been raised yet but what about cystic acne pimples? Someone mentioned the drying lotion is for small or regular pimples but the buffering lotion works for those nasty inflamed cysts.

But one review from amazon with a lot of likes mentioned it doesn't work for real cystic pimples as he/she said others who said it works for their cystic acne don't truly have cystic acne.

I know my reply is a little on the late side for this thread but...

I have been using Mario Badescu products since I was 16! It got me through my awkward teen acne years and way beyond!  The buffering lotion is great for cystic acne and regular acne.  You can use it on a spot anywhere on your body as well as your face.  I noticed that it works a little faster on "bacne" then on my face but it will heal a cystic pimple in 2-3 days without leaving a scar! Its also great for clearing up blackheads on my nose. I always have this product at home.

I don't get cystic pimples often, but when I do I swear by the Buffering Lotion. It also works well on my normal break outs (I really only get cystic or bad breakouts 4-8 times a year, usually coincides with being on Prednisone). The only thing is when I first apply it, if my husband is home he complains of the smell. The last bottle I bought says to apply it every other day at night, but I ignore that - go at your risk. If it's bad, I apply once or twice a day and my skin is moderately sensitive. It doesn't dry out my skin as much as benzoyl peroxide.
