Anyone have any recommendation for loose powder foundation for African American skin tones?  I am finding that a lot of the companies don't have darker colors.  Thanks in advance.

Thank you for those suggestions.

There are a lot of indie choices too.

Do you know what your undertones are - neutral , cool , warm ?

I know this post is old, but for newbies, there are SEVERAL mineral makeup lines to choose from for AA.

I personally use Milan Minerals (Shania) but another good choice is Monave, Meow Cosmetics, and Blac Minerals.

I think Bobbi brown it will be good for you because practically I am using since last two years, what should tell about the result it was amazing, so please try it at least one time.

Valana Minerals is in WHole Foods in some states. Really wide selection of undertones/colors. Most companies have like 2 dark shades and they think it's gonna match every black person (shake my head).

Hey I'm a white girl and I realize we have many different shades but so do other races! Geeshhh

Anyways...Valana is a good brand. And an Indie Brand.
