First Birthday Ideas for Late Fall Babies?

Hey guys! I have a little boy who is turning one November 20th. I really don't know what to do for his first big day. My daughter, who is 9 years older than her brother, was a summer baby. We had her first birthday at a park. It will more than likely be cold out side when my son's birthday comes around. Anyone have any ideas of what we could do? He's a little small for Chuck E. Cheese, and those types of places. Also, what are some educational or toddler interactive toys you've seen that toddlers seem to really enjoy? My son loves to explore; he rarely sits with his toys for more than 3 minuets. He loves Baby Einstein videos. Do you know of any Einstein toys with good reviews? I appreciate any suggestions you all may have. I also thank you in advance for the reply.
