I'm more of a manga sort of girl though {^^}

I love anime and Manga, I still don't entirely know the difference apart from different techniques and colour, is there any other differences?

Anime is awesome. I love looking at the tutorials for anime makeup. To answer your question anime is japanese animation (on television/dvd) while manga is japanese style comic books.
