Question about the Sephora Collection eyeshadow portfolio

Can someone please explain to me why the hecking frick this thing costs upwards of SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS? That's the amount of my entire life savings so far. Sephora brand eyeshadows are not the best in the known universe, so what gives?

sephora brand eyeshadows are not the best, but they're decent. the set is composed of all full size eyeshadows. 80 of them, which are $13 each, so the value is $1040. >40% savings for quantity discount = $600!

I won't lie, I think that price is *definitely* not worth the quality of their shadows. You can find drugstore shadows from Wet n Wild that are better quality and those cost $1/each!
