Curling hair with straighteners can create a full, bouncy curls that will not look like ringlets.you will not be able to curl with wet and damp hair and hence you have to start with dry hair. You should also consider using a mousse before blow drying your hair. The extra volume will keep your hair from from looking too flat as you curl it.Try to use a thin flat iron and your straightener should be 1 or 2 inches in width.A flat, paddle style iron won't be able to do the curls. You can apply heat protectants which creates a protective barrier between the hair and the iron so that the hair doesn't frizzle and burn.If you want your curls to hold their shape exactly, spritz a little bit of hairspray on the hair right before you curl.
