Alright ladies, who is a gamer??

Recommended Posts

I have The Tale of Two Towns for DS and A Wonderful Life and Magical Melody for Gamecube.  Between those two, Animal Crossing, and Luigi's Mansion it's the only reason the Gamecube is still hanging around my house.  lol

I actually have Rune Factory: Frontier on my Gamestop wishlist.  I noticed there are several.  Is that one any good or are there better?

Also...Professor Layton.  I swear I think I'm going to have to buy a 3DS.  I can't believe they only released the next Layton on 3DS.

My husband has one and he loves it. I think he has the one with two screens and you can turn the 3D on or off. I think we got it at Best Buy and had one of those reward coupon things.

I mostly play games that are apps. I really do miss my Super Nintendo from when I was a youngster though.

Right now I'm obsessed with The Simpsons Tapped Out. Ugh. I have spent way too much time on that game. Anyone else play it?

I go through gamer phases.  I used to really be into WoW (like 8 hrs+ a day on it), but then it just got too dumbed down for me. Every once in a while though I have a ping to pick it back up again, but I never do.

Love Minecraft, again go through phases where I pick it up and play for like a month straight and then don't have anything to do with it again.  For the past year or so I've been working my way through Far Cry 3 WHICH I LOVE, but if I get really stuck somewhere I will boycott and that's what's happening with that right now.  I've also been getting a pinch to pick up GTAV again because my boyfriend picked it back up and I love watching him play.  I may actually play it when I get home tonight...

I'm definitely more of a casual gamer now.  I love playing arcade-like games on my phone and on Facebook, I definitely am playing something on one of those platforms at any given time.  Right now I'm playing Ninja Up on my phone.

I wouldn't really consider myself a "gamer," but I do love playing Battlefield and CoD games; I'm actually pretty good too :P

I actually uninstalled BF4 the other day. My hard drive kept filling up. I freed up about 40gs of space. That's insane! There was too many problems with it so I've stopped playing it for now.

@@glitzygal , whats far cry 3 like? :w00t:

It's great!  It's like...island mafia, haha  I really like BRIGHT games, and this fits the bill.  The graphics are awesome.  The story line is great to, it really sucks you in.  It's pretty old at this point so you could get it for like $15-$20 used and I highly recommend it!!

Do any of you play Elder Scrolls Online? I just recently picked up Skyrim on a whim (I've been an MMO player rather than a single-player-game player for ages) and it's completely eaten my brain. I've heard a lot of negatives about ESO, and I was wondering about your experiences.

Also: How many of you have a ready-made mental list of excuses to use in place of 'I slept late because I was up all night playing Game Of Your Choice'? :D

    • This Advent Calendar sounds amazing!! Thanks so much for sharing!!
    • I am going on a No Buy (replacements only) in January and February. My goal is to pay off a credit card of $140 (accounting for interest, I will need to pay off around $150), and to use up my deluxe sample sized beauty items. The same resolution I have every year, but this time it's different. I'll be paying off the last in a very long series of mini debts I had in my debt snowball, after two years of paying things off. After that I'll be going into a different phase, working on larger debts. Also, I am starting with far, far fewer sample beauty products than I used to, having used so many up in the last two years.  It's exciting, getting to the end of this phase. I'm going to be going through my samples in the next two weeks and getting ready! It's a good way to start the year, with smaller goals and easier wins.
    • Do you like card games? for example poker?
    • Advent calendar: Day 8 - Bright red nail polish - Polish was so easy to apply, and lasted well. I got several compliments on it.  Day 9 - At the Heart of Pine Trees Holiday Shower Gel - a fresh orange scent with a soft wood note.  Day 10 - Apricot body scrub.  Day 11 - Hydrating micellar water.  Day 12 - Plein Soleil Perfume - I love the perfume! It is tuberose with a hint of cardamom, to evoke travels to the East.  Day 13 - At the Heart of Pine Trees matching body lotion.  Day 14 - Mango Coriander Shower Gel.  I've been feeling the pressure of the holidays this month! I've been frustrated, because I have not been able to make progress on paying my credit card off by the end of the year. It's looking like it's not going to happen. I wanted to pay it off by the end of the year just because of perfectionism. Since it was the last in the series of smaller balance debts in my debt snowball, I thought it would be nice to have it done by New Year's Eve and start January with a larger goal. After having a relaxed day (I went to the park for a walk and saw baby deer!), I finally thought of something that made it okay to defer that goal a bit. I realized I won't be finished with my mini beauty products by the New Year either. I have far fewer than in past years, but I'll still have some to get through. I always had the concept of using my mini sample products and paying my smaller debts (the easier goals) and after that was through, I would use up full sized products while paying off larger debts. After thinking of that, I felt it would be okay to make a new plan and give myself January and February to pay my last small bill ($140) while using up the mini products. Then in March I can begin work on larger debts and larger products! I did achieve all of my 2019 New Year's Resolutions, and paid off five credit cards this year, and I'm very happy with that. I'm not going to go on a shopping spree and buy myself a lot of things with credit cards, but I do need to make it through Christmas!
    • I think Makeup brushes are a base for makeup, especially for this set of makeup brushes, highly recommended.
