Birchbox Soho

Recommended Posts

I'm going to visit the BB Soho store this month.  Wish they would post the March samples but the link still shows February.

Do they have full size items in the store too?  I'm wondering if I can pick up some Dr. Lipp while I'm there.  It's out of stock online.

call the store...

I've only gotten a BYOB once or twice with their free BYOB promos.  Every time I've gone to the store I've been disappointed by the selection.  My actual BB has way better sizes and items.

I am becoming quite the regular at Birchbox SoHo. They are SUCH enablers!!!  The last two weeks (and continuing on, I believe) Tuesday nights from 5-7 have Happy Hour. There is free Prosecco and a free gift with purchase (First week was a Chloe and Isabel Necklace, last week was a filter water bottle).

BYOB also continues to improve, there are quite a few options and some are full size.  What's online isn't accurate at all.  The girls in the store said you can just call the store and ask if they've updated the samples.  Seems it happens more frequently than monthly.

So anyway, I am pretty sure I'll be spending at least PART of my St. Patrick's Day at Birchbox Soho.

oh wow. Thanks for telling us. I haven't been there in a long time - and definitely didnt know the BYOB has improved nor did I know about the happy hours (and GWP!)

Is there a minimum purchase amount with the GWP?

No, the first time I went you could buy anything, the second time you had to buy a skincare item, so I think they may be limiting it to type, but not price.

When I was in the store last week, they had a free BYOB with a 6 or 12 month subscription.

I loved visiting this store. The services section is downstairs, the full size products in the front and the BYOB is at the back of the store.

Tons of options and nice sizes.  I was so impressed, I bought 2 boxes.

There's even a Men's BYOB but the selections are much more limited.

I love Birchbox Soho, I always feel so welcomed when I go there. Some staff already know me and always say "Welcome back" lol Love the BYOB!

I wish there was one over by where I live. I'd definitely visit. I'm too lazy to go to the Sephoras by me but a Birchbox store would be another story. :)

It's walkable (a fair enough distance) and a good excuse to get the dog on a bit of a walk. So now that it's becoming the way it is, the spring will definitely see me at the store more often. We've been there before post-launch but it didnt seem to change much.  Excited to see if they expanded the home section.

I'm glad there's another repeat offender here.  I always feel like they're thinking, "this girl is back AGAIN?!?"

I think the NYC one is sold out at this point anyway.  It's at Benefit, you get your eyebrows done, $35 to spend and also a Birchbox/Benefit gift.  All to celebrate Rollerlash, which is just kind of meh, IMO.  But my eyebrows haven't been done since August, and I'm sure I can find something I "Need."

They are doing a build your own skincare box for $75! You get a full size wash, toner, and moisturizer as well as deluxe samples of a mask and treatment.

I got the visanti brighten up, derma e hydrating mist, and dr jart oil balm. I picked cuppa cuppa tea and REN for the samples.

I did a BYOB and didn't have to pick from each category.

They also have the eyeko fat liner in BYOB

    • Hey guys! I want to make a great gift for my girlfriend, has anyone used this nail polish set from Aliexpress? What do you think? it is a good choice for a gift? Nail Polish Set. Thanks!
    • I made another payment on my credit card, and the remaining balance is now $140.  Yves Rocher Beauty Advent Calendar so far:  Day 1 - Sel D'Azur perfume - I've been wanting to try something from Yves Rocher's extensive line of new perfumes. This one is meant to evoke a walk on the Amalfi coast, with citrus and sea salt.  Day 2 - First Snowflakes Shower Gel - One of the new limited edition holiday products. This is lovely! It's white almond, but less sweet and more powdery than the Perlier White Almond, which I also love. I might have to get the big bottle!  Day 3 - Cream shampoo with avocado - also a new product I haven't tried yet. Very good shampoo that brings out natural waves.  Day 4 - Four sided nail file - A good file that really is effective.  Day 5 - Micellar water for sensitive skin.  Day 6 - Clear base coat for nails.  Day 7 - Face cream for sensitive skin.  I had a really hard time going back to work after Thanksgiving. But after Monday, it's been quite slow, thank goodness. They are allowing people to volunteer to leave early. I never do, even though I feel tired and burned out, because I'm so focused on my financial goals. I have been watching a vlogmas on You Tube from the channel iseedee. This is a Swedish girl who is frugal yet glamorous, and has inspired me in my No Buys. Her vlogmas (or Christmas Countdown 2019 as she calls it), is simple yet so beautiful and cozy. She is so organized, and really knows how to celebrate the holidays. She makes a simple Saturday of doing laundry and going grocery shopping seem special. I guess she personifies what you would call Hygge. iseedee is going through The Body Shop Beauty Advent Calendar. She has the big one with the full sized items. This is the only vlogmas I've been keeping up with.  I've been Christmas shopping (for other people, not for myself, lol), and also I'm going to be organizing the buffet at my church later this month. So I don't think I can pay any more on my credit card until Boxing Day. That's the day I am hoping to pay it off!!! After that I might buy myself a little treat or two, and then organize my plan for the New Year.
