I decided  to do an experiment.  So, I bought a three month subscription, with PayPal of course . I saw the reviews on their billing practices.  I wanted to see if the owner was true to her word, about it's improvements. If you are wondering, if MakeupMonthly.com has  changed? The answer is no.  It became very apparent  to me, that this company is a scam. The first month arrives, but the products do not add up to 30$. I have yet to see my second month and I do not expect to. It's the same issues from three years ago. They never get back in contact with you.

I wanted to update everyone. I reached out to MakeupMonthly on PayPal. I am interested in seeing if I get a response.
They know that PayPal will review my claim ? So, I wonder what their response will be?

I received a response from one of my messages. That I sent out over a week ago.  It's kind of obvious,  they are having server issues. This is not what I was expecting.

"A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

  [email protected]
    (ultimately generated from [email protected])
The mail server could not deliver mail to [email protected].  The account or domain may not exist, they may be blacklisted, or missing the proper dns entries."

Hi everyone, I found something that was of interest to me. I was not aware that MakeupMonthly.com  has been in business since 2005, until today. What really surprised me is that the website has not changed and even the advertisements are the same. I am going to go ahead and give you another update.  I went ahead and let PayPal review my claim, because she still has not got in contact with me. This kind of reminds me of a swap scam.   When she was on the forms communicating with everyone and giving people excuses.  She failed to mention, that she's been having a rough start for almost 7 years. it's been 11 years now, something strange is going on.  You can have a bumpy start, but by now she should be a pro.  This is a little weird.

This will be my final thoughts on the matter, sense PayPal gave me a refund.

First, I don't know if the circumstances would have been the same without PayPal. Second, the idea of a beauty subscription that offers high end makeup like Urban Decay and MAC is a wonderful Idea. I just wish beauty subscription companies would think about that before they advertise. Third, if you are a company that’s having issues there are lots of books, people and specialist. That can help you better serve your customers. Now, my final thoughts on this subject. Is this a company that can improve or change with better management? Yes, because that's not how it's being operated. It needs to change its name, to the company's real name. They need to hire people that are experts to complete needed task. The most loyal customers that you will ever find is the girl/guy at the makeup counter. If they find a brand that they love, it's a lifelong relationship.
