Circular Swap- Round #2 2015

Recommended Posts

Does anyone else get just as excited as seeing the items added when you see someone has chosen to take some of the items you added?  Or is it just me?

Yes! That's why I'm following this thread even though I'm not participating in round 2.

I haven't had a chance to look through it yet but it came!  Sending @@ChullBird a PM asking for address, and if that goes well I should be able to mail it and post pics tomorrow.  Should I replace the box?  It's looking like it has seen better days, plus it sat in the rain yesterday :(

The integrity of the box was probably compromised by the rain so I think you should.

I am just going to stalk this and hope there is one again when I am eligible. Looks like a great way to swap and be surprised!

I was shooting for a 24 hour turnaround but Halloween festivities took more time than anticipated.  I am going to get the new box during lunch today and will mail it today or tomorrow though.  I had over an hour's worth of dreams where I was trying to get everything to fit in the box, so I assume the re-packing part will go quickly, haha.

In the meantime, I am rocking this little snake midi ring thingie.  It's one of those things I would never pick out myself but I tried it on while I was playing with everything in the box and now I don't want to take it off.

Yay, glad you got it, @@ChullBird! I have been traveling all week and have had spotty service so I haven't had a chance to post my pics of what I took out / put in. The box was JAM PACKED even after I took stuff out of boxes so I couldn't put as much in as I wanted. Someone is going to need to take way more than they put in!

I took some stuff out, and there was still no space. So I went through it again...and it looks better. I may go through one more time because I have so much stuff I want to put back.

Also no one should feel bad for taking out more than they put in. I just want my stuff to find a home...that isn't mine.

Don't feel guilty about taking more than you replace! The box really is too full...Think of it as helping others get more of a variety because you are making room for fun things to go in.

I took these out because they were hazardous. Just a friendly reminder, nail polish (and most hair sprays) can not be shipped via air. :)

This is what I took.

Not pictured: a lipstick in a velvet bag, and the bellapierre highlighter/shadow. The lipstick broke and fell on my carpet when I opened it to look at the color. The bellapierre was broken and white powder leaked all over. Oh and one of those nail polish pods because it leaked.

This is what I put back in, plus a few other surprises that aren't pictured because I wasn't sure if I could fit them...but I did. Because this box is magical.

So, this is out of order but I'm back from my Napa/Sonoma trip (highly recommended if any of you love wine and want to be able to order competently) and can post!

Here is what I took out of the box:

And here is what I put back in.  I was excited to see that @@ChullBird took some of my stuff...you'll have to let me know if the snail cream is amazing.  I just never worked up the nerve to use it, haha!

I did have to take a lot of my stuff out of boxes to fit it in but I promised it's all unused / unswatched etc.

Looks like the timing will work out well for me. I'm out of town this week for my sister's wedding but I'll be back Sunday. I expect the box will make it's way to me sometime next week-ish.

This is so fun.  I'm down for that Patchology item of yours if no one takes it before my turn!  I'm with you--I loved seeing others take what I inserted.

@ Chullbird  I had a discussion with the post office regarding nail polish/hair spray air shipping.  Actually, there is a weight limit for those to be in a package.  As long as the quantity is below the cut-off, it is acceptable.  Unfortunately, I have forgotten what he told me for the cut off......

    • Careprost is a regenerating agent that was originally developed to treat hypotrichosis and restore healthy eyelash growth. The product is a sterile solution that should be applied externally, treating them with the growth lines of the upper eyelashes and eyebrows.  Perfect eyelashes complete the look of your eyes; they add beauty to you and make you look attractive. Fuller eyelashes not only define your eyes but also sharpen your facial features. Eyes with long lashes look bigger and brighter. Whatever might be your skin’s complexion, your sharp features make you glow even in your dark skin color. The cosmetic market has a wide variety of eyelashes of different colors, length, density, and curvy ones etc. which you can wear with ease. But are these fake eyelashes are much being easier to apply or they are actually hassled. Putting fake eyelashes is a tough task and make the process troublesome is to make them intact for a long duration, controlling your hands to not to touch them. Using fake eyelashes is a temporary solution; it does not give you a natural look.
