I saw this on twitter / yahoo a while ago and her blonde platinum hair looked awful.I'am sorry but an armenian olive skinned toned woman with platinum blonde hair just should never be a fashion do ever. She looked terrible its bad enough she took a nude selfie when shes married and has children but her example shes setting for her daughter is disgusting.I'am sorry but she is a terrible example of what a woman should be in society.Naked selfies are gross to begin with but even her body looked gross to me lol.

I think she's just addicted to getting attention and that's what's bringing her money.

I do agree, it's kind of sad to see where out society is going and what kind of example she's setting for young girls.

I agree. Taking nude selfies isn't the proper behavior for someone who is a wife and a mother.

Oh I dont hate her Viperchiller  I just dont have any respect for her as a human being. I dont think she has anything to offer. If any woman posted nude selfies celeb or not I would feel the exact same way.If you dont respect yourself how do you expect other people to respect you  especially if your behavior is questionable ? If you act that way people will treat you a certain way especially  with the whole nude seflie craze that people do how do you think people are gonna treat you after something like that ? You cant have your boobs and butt out and think thats okay when your what late 30s married and have two kids thats like a mental problem she should seek out help for that.

Its not like she cured diabetes , cancer or did anything for anybody shes not even a good person so I cant respect someone who did nothing but was self absorbed self centered and was in love with themselves to the point its sickening.

No offence but if your gonna stand up for somebody do it for somebody worth standing up for not kim kardashian lol.She got popular for having a porn / sex tape not for having talent.

She has no redeeming qualities.I could see if she was a likeable person or had something about her  but I have watched the show the kardashians before and she is shallow their is nothing beyond the surface what you see is what you get with her.Their is not a whole lot going on in that head of hers shes not very smart .

Even when she was pregnant she wore tight outfits that were revealing for attention stuff no pregnant woman would ever wear to the point where she showed way too much skin.It was embarassing.

Her fashion line the app the tv show its all terrible.

She is attractive  yeah shes pretty but looks dont last forever shes not  in her 20s anymore and doing stuff like that is like I said embarassing to herself and others around her.I mean If my mom did that kinda stuff I would be ashamed to say the least. She never had any class or morals / values its all about making money off nude pics , sex tapes shit tv shows and the like.Just my opinion sorry if this offends anyone reading this lol.

@ I understand your reaction and I would personally never do such a thing as well; But everybody is free to choose whatever they want to do with their life and body. No one should shame others based on their own choices. Remember, there is always someone out there to find our choices wrong and we wouldn't want to be called disgusting or a bad person.  :flowers:

Well said! I was taught that if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all.

Nudity is fine imo and I think she's really pretty.  You just make yourself look kind of bad for being mean abt it lol.

Don't forget her pictures have probably been photoshopped and touched up to death but I still cant understand why anyone would want to post naked selfies of themselves. Again its all just for attention!

Everyone can have their own opinion about Kim Kardashian and her actions. Just because someone doesn't agree with what she does, doesn't automatically make them a hater. I didn't think it was in good taste to do what she did but I don't hate her. She is a celebrity and I could care less what she does but if you are a celebrity you open yourself up for criticism. When she posted the picture, IG blew up with people saying both hateful comments and positive comments about it. I'm sure she knew that was going to happen or she wouldn't have done it. It's all for publicity. Here at MUT we encourage discussions where everyone can state their opinion about various issues without being personally attacked for their opinions. We want to hear from both sides, the people who support her and the people who thought this was not a good move on her part. Not just on this issue but on any issue. We encourage discussion about issues both for and against. It's against our TOS to personally attack anyone and posts will be evaluated and removed if necessary. There are plenty of sites out there that allow this kind of attacking and trolling and we don't because our community is different and we want to keep it that way. Us women need to stick together and support and lift each other up not personally attack other members of the community for voicing their opinions. There are plenty of other sites out there where you can do that but not here.  :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20"> Thank you all for your support in keeping our community positive and different from others out there. Let's keep it civil ladies and respect other peoples opinions.

Nudity to me is a private personal matter its  an intimate thing its not art to me its more of an attention thing to me when I see people who do stuff like that I dont think oh she probably has great self esteem I think somethings missing and again if this offends anyone this is just how I was raised / brought up and keep in mind I'am talking about Kim Kardashian not any user on the forum .I dont care if the person who is nude is ugly or pretty or fat or thin to me it shouldnt be something you ever show the entire world.

I'am catholic so to me its about morals / values when it comes to nudity.I would never wanna be nude for random men online ever even if money was involved.I think nudity shouldnt even be involved in  casual relationships either but to each their own like I said I'am catholic. To me nudity and sex and how you dress says a lot about how you feel about yourself and that reflects how people treat you in return the world judges you regardless of whether you think people do or not.Again I'am in my 20s so I'am not as go with the flow / trends type a person I just think for myself and have my own ideas about things thats just how I'am.Just because everyone else does it to me doesnt make a difference and guaranteed most people who do nude selfies they dont look back on it and think that it was a great idea.

Celebs have a platform to influence people.  Kim Kardashian has a following of teen girls who worship her every move and follow in her footsteps. They see her do things and think oh thats okay because she did it and so should I .They idolize her but in reality she hasnt actually done anything good in her life thus far as far as her accomplishments go its not something I would want my daughter if I had one to look up to.

It is a free country in the USA you can do and say whatever you want if you have an opinion your entitled to it and you have to respect other peoples opinions .If people dont like what I have to say thats okay everyones entitled to their own opinions as am I.

What you do with your body is your own business but everything in life has its consequences whether its taking a nude selfie , having sex or sleeping around with multiple people and having abortion and all the political issues going on in the world right now  you get the idea every action has its consequences good or bad. I never made comments about anyone on here except Kim Kardashian and I dont think shes a user on here and even if she was I doubt she would care lol  since she has been called every name in the book on twitter.I'am sure she is used to it by now celebs dont become celebs and think they will never be judged or criticized for their actions its part of the business they are in its to be expected.

I dont think I shamed anyone on here unless your name is Kim K and your just undercover on here. Its a harsh world the real world is a harsh place  your actions and how you present yourself will effect you and how other people will see you.You yourself already know if the choices you make in life are right or wrong before anyone says anything to you about them am I right ?

If I did take nude selfies or was doing porn or had sex tapes out yeah your right I would expect people to think my choices are disgusting and think I'am a bad person .But if you dont think your a bad person it shouldnt matter to you what people say.

Yeah without all the makeup she looks like a completely different person. She is pretty with makeup on but without I would say shes okay looking but certainly not as pretty as she looks with everything her makeup artists do for her.I dont look at Kim K and think shes naturally pretty their is a lot of effort and work that goes into having her look like that day in and day out.

All pics of celebs are airbrushed / touched up in magazines unless its in mags like starz or people magazine and they just look like regular people going out because they didnt expect paparazzi to snap a pic.

When I was growing up my mother would sit in her ratty housecoat in front of the TV and trash talk all of the current famous actresses saying, "She's not pretty at all."  Jennifer Aniston was on that list.  You can imagine what it felt like being a kid with frizzy hair, chunky legs and braces to hear Jennifer Aniston isn't pretty. All I could think about was, "If she's ugly what does that make me?  Ugly times a million?"  A lot of people think Kim is a 9 or a 10.  Saying she's barely a 5 basically knocks girls that look like me into negative numbers.

I actually dont think Jennifer Aniston is pretty but I live in california so to me shes average at best even on her good days. But your mother didnt say YOU were not pretty the comment wasnt about you your insecurities just made you feel that your moms comment was directed somehow towards you.Girls do that a lot but its not always about them lol.

I think Kim K tries really hard to look / be pretty do I think it comes natural no do I think she wakes up pretty no do I think shes naturally pretty / beautiful no I do not. What I think of as attractive is more about confidence and being comfortable with who you are type of thing if that makes any sense.I dont think Kim K is a confident person at all because of all the choices shes made in her life the sex tape the nude selfies and so on those are not things a confident person does in my opinion. She is looking for some type of approval or attention and it seems very desperate to me.A confident person would know they look good and they wouldnt care if they have your attention or not they are not gonna try regardless their gonna do their own thing.

I'm tired of women hating on other women. Don't like nudity? Don't do nudes. What someone else does with their body is none of your business. I hope it makes you sleep better at night knowing you're so personally invested in the looks of a celebrity you don't even like.

We live in a society where looks are very much valued. I'am not sure what area you live in but in the USA ( california  and everywhere in the world probably ) in  my world / reality looks are very much important and matter A LOT.Ask anyone whos taken a nude selfie about themselves trust me they dont think positive about it nor does Kim K but she just wanted money.

Real women take pride in how they look but they dont need to have nude pics posted online on their twitter account to feel good about themselves basically thats the only way they feel empowered is by being sexual towards men because nudity in the way Kim K did it was about getting male attention. Its not even about her its about her wanting a reaction out of people she wants the attention.I'am personally invested in women acting unclassy / trashy and thinking their cool because of it lol shes not worth standing up for I can think of many people who are worth fighting for / standing up for and  shes not one of em people on here can attack me but I know I'am 100 % right about her actions so it doesnt matter to me.I wouldnt even call her a real " woman " she to me is a girl with issues probably because she didnt have a dad growing up her father died and her mom used her for money all her life and so on.

Being a woman is not about being sexual posing nude for men because you want people to pay attention to you  by doing inappropriate stupid  things.I dont support women who dont respect themselves like Kim K.

Also this is not an issue of "what people do with their bodies is nobodies business " because many users kept repeating that phrase to me over and over again on this topic.Let me clear this up for those users reading the post. That phrase is used when people talk about birth control , sleeping around or abortion not used about Kim K's nude selfies on twitter and it never should be used in that context because this is not about womens rights , your thoughts on nude selfies or  what you do with your body. This is not a political debate dont make it into something its not about. This topic is about Kim K posting a nude selfie not any user on here posting a nude selfie.Users are acting as if these posts are directed towards / about them and their name is not Kim K so I dont understand how they are making the issue about themselves when its not about them to begin with.

Please keep on topic to everyone reading this forum thread.I had not said 1 bad thing about any user on this forum or made personal attacks on anyone on here but users said things about me in this topic numerous times that were rude / crossing the line.If you say oh you hate how women hate on other women what are you doing right now ?

I'am reffering to these comments  by users " I hope it makes you sleep better at night "

"I'am tired of women hating on other women " " no one should shame others based on their choices" " you just make yourself look kinda bad for being mean about it lol " how is that not hating on another woman you lost me with those comments directed towards me when those are all personal attacks on me where people tried to shame me.I still dont understand how users tried to make the issue about them.

Thats all I have left to say about the topic.I always will stand up for whats right and what I believe in no matter how people try and twist it around to try and make someone else look bad which is what I feel like users tried to do to me in this topic.

You lost me as soon as you made someone's body your business. Sure you can stand up for your beliefs in "what's right", it's a free country. However, bigotry is a form of discrimination, and discrimination is frowned upon. If a woman, celebrity or not, chooses to expose herself, as long as it's done legally [prostitution is still illegal, but exotic dancers are not], there's absolutely nothing she did wrong in terms of the law. Ain't no shame if you're ahead of the game, and Kim K. clearly is. If someone can make that much money on their looks alone, hats off to them.

"Being a woman is not about being sexual posing nude for men because you want people to pay attention to you  by doing inappropriate stupid  things."
Welp, I'm glad we have an expert here who can clarify to us what "being a woman" is really about. You should save this essay for your public lectures.

"I'am not sure what area you live in but in the USA ( california  and everywhere in the world probably ) in  my world / reality looks are very much important and matter A LOT."
And I thought the area where I live is listed right under my profile pic. I live in Michigan, in a Bible Belt area of all places, so I see this type of bigotry quite often in these parts. Heck, wearing a bikini to the beach would cause an outrage among some of my inlaws.

It's so interesting how different parts of the world and the US view these types of things. Being born and raised in Finland where laying on the beach topless is no big deal as well as in other European countries where I traveled to when I was young, it's fascinating to see how different cultures view nudity. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20"> In Europe nobody thinks its a big deal if a woman is laying topless on the beach and nobody is even paying attention to it including the men. Nobody would stare a person or anything like that because it's considered "normal" behavior and not scandalous but it doesn't mean everyone does it there either. I personally never chose to do it nor did I know anyone in my circle who did it. If my friends and I went to the beach and saw someone laying topless, none of us thought about it being a big deal at all and we didn't even talk about it or really pay attention to it.

Edited to add: I also think that due to the views on nudity being normal part of life in Europe, women don't become an object like many times it feels like women are viewed as over here in the US. I could be totally wrong on my assessment though. It just feels like in Europe women are respected more for who they are and are supported more in their accomplishments by the society. Women are found in high power positions in the corporate world and government positions through out Finland and other parts of Europe because they can do the job just like men if not better in that specific position. I think because they have such high respect of the society, they are not viewed as these sex objects but as a very high accomplishing individuals so seeing a women laying topless on the beach is no big deal. The men don't think that the women laying there are somehow doing it for them or has anything to do with men in general and the women are respected by men for who they are. The men don't go to the beach and try and harass a women laying topless or even stare at them, it's not something most men would do in Europe because they view it being normal part of life as well. They grow up as little boys not thinking anything of it so when they are in their teens or adulthood seeing a woman laying there on the beach it's no big deal. I'm not saying women here in the US aren't respected the same way, it just seems like there is a difference how women are viewed across different countries and cultures and how the view on nudity plays into it.
