I'm New!

Hello everyone,

I'm so excited to be a part of this site. I love that everyone can come together to give advice and just talk! I would first like to say that I love doing hair and makeup. I went to cosmetology school after high school and found my creative side! It is the best feeling when you are doing someone's hair/makeup and they absolutely love it and feel beautiful. I started doing hair and learned makeup along the way from watching others in salons that I have worked in. Now, I am a freelancer that does makeup and hair for brides or other events. I am a traveler and will go to any destination for someone's event. My reason for joining this community is to get feedback from fellow makeup artists on how to improve my YouTube videos and what looks everyone would like to see. Also, to get tips on how to make my work better. I hope everyone checks out my channel and I am open to lots of feedback!

Hi, I think on Makeup Talk they have a place where you can start your own beauty blog for free. 

Yes we have a blog section here on MakeupTalk. It's free and a great way to preserve your information. For example if you post on Instagram, your account can be gone in a heart beat so one of the best things you can do is post the information in our blog section for everyone to see and to make sure it won't disappear. Now if it's total spam, that won't be allowed but useful blog articles about beauty and makeup related subjects is what the blog section is intended for.
