Popsugar Must Have Box April 2017 *Spoilers*

Recommended Posts

It's cute, but I wonder if it's going to be too small to be very useful.

I thought about that too. I was thinking if it's not going to work in the kitchen, maybe I'll use it across my sink in my bathroom when doing my makeup.

I tend to put paper towels down in the sink and dump a bunch of makeup I'm going to use into the sink. I live in an apartment, there isn't ANY counter space.  I might use the board to set stuff that I tend to knock over like loose powder or shadows.

omg I LOVE this idea.  I have a pedestal sink and this is genius!

That's pretty but not something I'd use in my house. It'll make a nice gift. Maybe for mother's day?

I love a terrarium but with a toddler here, I'm sure he'll think it's a tiny sanbox :D

Mine is coming from NY. Did you order one of the mystery boxes? maybe that is why the weight is low?

I checked out MSA. I like the box, but toothpaste and floss is weird to get in a popsugar box, but it will get used.

I didn't get any of the mystery boxes yet. I may pick one up before they all sell out. Always good for gifts. I hope you get a nice Spring break box.

I have not received my box yet but am torn on the spoilers.  I love the little plant craft thats the kind of fun and different item I expect in a pop sugar box.  Not sure about the cutting board I saw a review where the blogger received a really poor quality cutting board the paint was all drippy/streaky and it just looked like a bit of a hot mess so hopefully that was just a fluke and not an issue a lot of people run into.  The body wash looks interesting. The toothpaste and floss seem out of place and just like random filler to me (I think the toothpaste is a sponsored item but still too many hygenie items in 1 box for me).  I mean yes they are items that will get used but I can go to the drugstore and buy them myself (and actually prefer to do that).  I don't subscribe to pop sugar to receive must have floss and toothpaste.  This box definitely feels like its missing something to me.   I prefer when the boxes have items from several different categories i.e. an accessory, a make-up/skincare item, a gadget/craft, home item, food/cooking item.  This box has too many personal care items for me (bodywash, toothpaste, and floss).  I hope once the box is in my hands I enjoy it more and I hope everyone enjoys their items.  Have fun making your terraniums!!

I got my box finally. I heard something loose in my box when I first got it, it was only the corn snack that was split open and bits of the nuggets were all spread around my box. I just tossed the entire thing. I'm not going to bother letting PS know, I don't want a replacement.

If it was a good snack I would have emailed them.

Got my box today. It's a nice box. I will keep everything in it and give the toothpaste and floss a try even though I already have favorites in those items.

I actually really like the floss. Ha!

I'll give my terrarium to my sister probably for her birthday. I think she'll like making it. I might gift the sachets to my mom for mother's day.

I'll keep the rest of the box and make use of everything else, the cutting board is a little too small for my sink but I think it'll work beside my sink where it doesn't quite line up against the wall. I'm forever dropping stuff down beside it.

This month's Globein box has a tiny"air plant" (I don't know their name, but they are a live plant that doesn't require soil)  It will be perfect in the terrarium!

    • Hey guys, im new here and love all things make up.  I seem to collect makeup from all over.  I love glitter, matte, pearl, anything.  The eye shadow palettes have been my weakness.  Every time a new UD or Morphe palette launches I have to run out and buy. With these palettes I have to have brushes to go with them.  Crease and shading brushes.  Then comes the blending brushes.  Lord, you can't have great eye makeup without a fluffy blending brush. Foundation is an entirely another beast in its own right.  I use my Sigma Flat Top Kabuki brush for my foundation.  It is dense and gets the foundation in all the right places. I actually have multiples of the same brushes so I know I have plenty to create my eye look.  While I was shopping for new brushes, I came across a link for a free makeup brush.  https://41f1caqgpjspd4h6n3u8grlh2e.hop.clickbank.net/?tid=MAKEUP119 It has got a few reviews and looks decent.  Hey, Free is free in my book.  The other major brush I use is the Sigma 4d brush that gets right into the corners around the eye for concealers etc.  I probably use like 6-10 brushes when I am doing a full face of makeup...  Even after all that sometimes I am not happy with the end result but its too late and time for me to step out and do what I was prepping for   lol   Well I am glad to be here and look forward to meeting all of you and getting into this makeup world even more...
    • Congratulations! There some great makeup artists here. So nice to see you here.
    • Hi Beauties! I dare to say, I found the most valuable and useful beauty tool for myself. I cannot help sharing it to you all. I said how important to draw our eyebrows better and lighting resources are really important to draw eyebrows. Actually lighting resources are important to your whole makeup.I recommended a LED light mirror under a post before if I did not remember wrong. But at that time, I did not use it myself that much and I just thought It's a good choice for someone who is looking for a good mirror. But now I have to highly recommend it. Since these days it's raining all the time AND I get up so early, there is no much natural lighting for me to makeup myself. Then I take out the LED lighting mirror. It surprised me indeed. Really wide-angle viewing. There is a cover on the mirror surface and the cover can be opened as a wider mirror. You can long press the button to change the brightness. That will meet all your makeup demands. When I draw my eyebrows, I can see every eyebrows clearly. I know how to adjust my drawing natural and better.  I did not take pictures of myself. But here you can check it yourself: https://www.amazon.com/Easehold-Tri-Fold-Rotation-Countertop-Cosmetic/dp/B01MG8X4QS/ref=sr_1_1?m=A24N8FLRVFVVCH&s=merchant-items&ie=UTF8&qid=1519698602&sr=1-1 Highly recommend it!!!
