I only used Retin-A in high school for acne. It made my skin very dry/flaky/red at first, but after a time my skin started getting used to it. My acne did get better, but I was also taking tetracycline and another topical in the AM, so who knows? I've heard a lot about it for anti-aging, due to its high concentration of retinol, which you can't find over-the-counter. My one recommendation is to be SUPER diligent with sunscreen/sun protection use while using it. It makes your skin very sensitive to the sun! Invest in cute hats!
