Ayurveda has been the way of life for many Indians. It is deep-rooted in our cultural practices which is only related to well-being. Ayurveda teaches us to believe in the natural surroundings. All of us are a part of the environment thus the remedies are also hidden in the surrounding itself. In the new age of well-being, it has changed from ingrained Ayurveda practices to believe in it. Now not many of us either are aware of the Ayurveda benefits in skin care regime or we never thought of exploring the Ayurveda universe. The uniqueness about Ayurveda skincare treatment is that it goes deeper than superficial issues. Ayurveda says that our bodies are made up of different constituents therefore, it's important to understand the constituents in order to come up with long term sustainable resolutions.

Ayurveda has changed the way of skincare is being understood in today’s time. Chemical infused cosmetics are becoming an easier way out to rectify the skin issues but those cannot be permanent solutions. Ayurveda divides the skin into three different categories: Vatta, Pitta and Kapha. These three types of categories are based on inner and external traits. All three are influenced by various factors like food, seasonal changes, pollution, stress etc. Therefore, it's crucial to understand all three concepts to make sure a proper skincare regime is followed. Skin is the manifestation of our inner health. What goes inside our body is what will be shown on our skin. Thus, it's important to know which category you fall in. In fact, there are a few of the luxury cosmetic skin brands which are consciously using the three constituents to manufacture the best of the products. Brands like Forest Essentials are organic in nature. It has found its foundation in Ayurveda science which combines ancient beauty rituals along with modern beauty solutions. Adopting traditional formulations and methods of manufacturing, the brand uses only the purest, fresh seasonal, and natural ingredients.

Though before using such products its important to understand which category you belong to:

Vatta

Vatta is synonym is to wind. It is the principal force of body and mind which keeps the entire mechanism in control. Because it has got air elements, the skin is generally dry as well as dehydrated. The skin is thin that it might start ageing earlier than others. Luxury ayurvedic essentials like Forest Essentials has mastered the art of manufacturing products with respect to doshas. Thus, they are effective as no one other. One with dry skin can also face acne issues for the longest time therefore, they are advised to use a moisturizer or hydrating gels. One can find sunscreen lotion made up of Coconut water infused with turmeric and basil leaf or Madurai Jasmine and Mogra. If someone has already started getting fine lines then should start using Sanjeevani Elixir Beauty regularly. They are also advised to drink plenty of water to keep themselves hydrated.

Pitta

Pitta is synonym is to fire. This dosha means there is a lot of heat and inflammation in the body which makes the skin to flare up. The skin is prone to freckles as well as moles. While they might not be oily all the time but because of the heat inside the body, they are generally warm. Warm skin needs to be cooled down frequently. Ayurveda skincare natural products like Sandalwood and Saffron night cream will help to calm the skin during the night or using Sandalwood and Nageskarlep/mask would help too. The skin of Pitta dosh should avoid eating oily food and increase intake of greens to balance the diet.

Kapha

Kapha is a synonym to earth. It is a thick or heavy skin which leads to easy clogging of dirt. The skin tends to be oily all over the face but cool from within. Blackheads are the main problems of such skin. Luxurious ayurvedic creams have got remedies for such skins. Such skin needs to clean and tone their skin on a daily basis to avoid dirt accumulation. One can use facial toners like Mist Panchpushp, Bella or pure water. In fact, Multani Mitti works as the best cleaners for such skin or even neem has been proven to be an effective ingredient.

In today’s complex age, we need to understand the basics of skin science to deal with the problems.
