blissjuly01_a.jpg

Backstage at Calvin Klein

STEP ONE: Apply moisturizer to clean skin and give it a few minutes to absorb.STEP TWO (optional): Only do this step if you need it.

Apply a little sheer foundation or tinted moisturizer all over, and follow with a creamy, moisturizing concealer under eyes and on blemishes. Try: Clinique Almost Makeup or Neturogena Healthy Defense Sheer Foundation; CG Smoothers Concealer Stick

STEP THREE: Apply some shimmery facial lotion to cheeks, forehead, and chin, and apply in a thin stripe down the bridge of your nose. Use a light bronzer on cheekbones and blend well. Try: Revlon Skinlights Lotion in Peach Light; Benefit Hoola Bronzer

STEP FOUR: Apply a sheer pink or violet gloss to lips. Smudge a champagne-colored cream eyeshadow on eyelids. Brush a lenghening (not thickening) mascara on lashes and comb through with a lashcomb (or an old, clean mascara wand). Try: Girl Cosmetics Slip Gloss in Brown Sugar and Frosting (mix together); Stila Eye Gloss in Champagne; Clinique Naturally Glossy Mascara

Summer Glow Look #2...

Backstage at Alberta Ferretti

STEP ONE: Apply moisturizer to clean skin and give it a few minutes to absorb.

STEP TWO (optional): Only do this step if you need it.

Apply a little sheer foundation or tinted moisturizer all over, and follow with a creamy, moisturizing concealer under eyes and on blemishes. Dot powder over wherever you applied concealer. Try: Clinique Almost Makeup or Neturogena Healthy Defense Sheer Foundation; CG Smoothers Concealer Stick

STEP THREE: Apply a sheer, light bronzer all over (use a light touch with the face brush - you don't want it to look fake!). Try: Benefit Hoola Bronzer

STEP FOUR: Apply a sheer pink or violet gloss to lips. Very lightly, line eyes with a neutral brown. Brush a lenghening (not thickening) mascara on lashes and comb through with a lashcomb (or an old, clean mascara wand). If your eyes still need some extra definition, apply a sheer, neutral brown shadow to eyelids (or just use your bronzer as an eyeshadow!). Try: Girl Cosmetics Slip Gloss in Brown Sugar and Frosting (mix together); CoverGirl Perfect Point Plus Eye Pencil in Espresso; Clinique Naturally Glossy Mascara; Bath & Body Works Beautiful by Nature Aqua Stick Cooling Eyeshadow in Driftwood
