OK don't be mislead because this is purely speculation on my part.
But, I have been wearing skinlights for two days and also have had a pounding headache for the past two days.
When I applied it, the headache started to form. I took a nap and woke up with it being worse.
Pretty sure this is a fragrance sensitivity.
Let me clear it up further, I can't wear a lot of perfumes because I will get serious migraines. Skinlights has a very strong scent (to me). I didn't suspect it was the makeup until just now and remembered my fragrance sensitivity. I looked up more information on it (see bottom). It could very well be the fragrance in Skinlights causing my headaches.
I wonder if this happened to a lot of people, and they complained. If it is one of the reasons it's being discontinued, then I think Revlon should just reformulate the product. Hopefully they will, because my HG foundation mix includes it now, but at the same time I cannot wear it or else my migraines will be horrible.
I'm about to go wash my face thoroughly and see how quickly the headache clears up, if at all. Then, I will check back and update.
This article has a lot of info on fragrance sensitivities, and what causes them in makeup: Chemical Sensitivities And Perfumes
Edit: I should add that yesterday my boyfriend thought I was drunk because when I woke up, my speech was really slurred. I couldn't really concentrate on our conversation. My eyes were burning badly all afternoon after I woke up.
I read this just now and thought it made sense with my symptoms.
