I have long naturally wavy/curly (mostly wavy with a few random skinny ringlets now and then) hair. I do heat style occasionally but irregularly enough that I'm pretty sure my hair is not damaged. Plus, it has never been dyed. It isn't really thick or thin.. Definitely not oily, but I don't know if I would say dry either? I don't know much about hair.
Anyway, I follow a modified CG routine where I only use an easy to remove cone (as long as the shampoo has at least coco betaine in it, it will get it out) and I conditioner wash. I do wash my hair with shampoo once a week. I want something gentle but not TOO gentle (it has to get the job done, and my hair isn't dry or sensitive scalp or anything) and it CAN contain sulfates if it's still gentle. Drugstore, Sally's, Salon are all fine, but I only have access to Kiss My Face, Nature's Gate, Giovanni, Avalon Organics, and Burt's Bees when it comes to natural brands.
I also need a matching cone free conditioner that will be more moisturizing than the Suave Tropical Coconut conditioner I use for CO washing, but not toooo heavy.
