Brown? Dark Brown? Black? or both depending nighttime/daytime look?

I'm using black all the time but find it can look harsh for a daytime look at work. What color do you guys normally wear?

 
I wore clear but I'm starting to get used to black now. I agree black sometimes looks harsh even though my natural hair is black.

 
I've always used black. If it is too harsh, maybe you can switch to brown. I've seen lots of brown black mascaras.

Black, navy blue, and violet--mainly black though. I agree if you find black too harsh you might want to try brown-black, or dark brown.

 
I only wear black now, for the longest time i only wore brown/black but the black looks so much better on me.

 
I really love Navy and Burgandy, or just black. I dont know why but I really dont like brown mascara lol

 
Black or brown/black, depending on what else I'm wearing. It might sound odd but I just think some colours of shadow go better with one than the other.

I do have a navy mascara, which I like, but I rarely reach for it.
