Some MMU sites claim that given the "mineral" ingredients, technically MMU will last indefinitely (i.e. won't go bad since they can not support microbial growth). Any opinion on this?
How about MMU that has organic ingredients (i.e. oats, rice powder, oil, etc.) which has shorter shelf life (1.5 - 2 years)? Would organic ingredients shorten the "life" of MMU?
