Hey everyone!

My aunt asked me to make her over tomorrow with minerals

. I'm excited and want to make sure she looks amazing:p. Any tips or things I should be sure to do/not to do?

She has a deep brown skin tone with some dark areas. She's around 74 years old but looks about in her 60s (to me at least:p).

What kinds of colors do you suggest for eyeshadow too?

Thanks a ton!

For the eyes I would use two looks, one of neutrals and second purples. These always look nice with dark skintones. For the lip/blush I would keep it with natural tones.

You might want to try a damp application method, especially if she does have some fine lines or wrinkles. I'm in my 50s and I like to either use a damp application or use a primer that smooths the fine lines. If she needs a moisturizer applied, let it soak in at least 15 minutes before you apply the minerals. Have fun!

I wait to make sure my moisturizer has soaked in but then I'll take a tissue and blot before starting application. I'm sure your aunt will be thrilled with the results!
