FOTD - January 27th, 2008

"CRAZY IN ALABAMA"

OMG. My liner brushes pissed me off this morning. I hated them. I cursed at them. First, my MAC 266 decided it wanted to screw up my look by making my liner SUPER thick. So, I had to take it off and redo that part of my eyes. I grabbed my other liner brush, and it decided to just be difficult and not make a wing properly. So, I had to re-do that one eye AGAIN. @#(*@#$(*&@#**@*$!!!!!!

Anyway - so, if you see a touch of black undertone on my left eye lid, that's what it is. Otherwise, I like how this turned out.

Oh, and regarding the title: I've been wanting to do this look since Jake and I watched that movie not too long ago. Classic '60s.

all M*A*D Minerals, unless specified

FACE:

primer - Monistat Soothing Care Chafing Relief Powder Gel

concealer - Medium

foundation - Natural Medium

finisher - Translucent Veil and SPF Powder

blush - Ruffles

contour - Bronze

highlight - Flash Glow

EYES:

UDPP

e/s - Cancun Sand - lid

e/s - Raffia Cream - outer v, crease

e/s - Ivory Mist - highlight (I also used a TAD of MAC's Mylar just under my brows but only because I'd already put up my Ivory Mist and didn't want to mess with getting it back out!)

e/l - Indelible Gel Liner: Black Out - upper lashline

brows - Brow Duo in Blonde

mascara - L'Oreal Voluminous: Carbon Black, Maybelline Great Lash: Blackest Black

LIPS:

l/l - AVON Glimmersticks: True Red

l/s - Revlon: Love That Red

face: no7 instant radiance concealer

virgin vie one step face base

virgin vie blush in delicacy

eyes: no7 e/s in gold dust

rimmel brown and gold eyeshadows from the 002 rebel chick pallette

no7 amazing eyes e/l in black

rimmel volume flash mascara

random white eyeshadow (at corners of the eyes)

lips: bourjois effet 3d les nudes lipgloss in rose mythic (number 34)

-MAC "Nylon" highlight

-The new Maybelline mascara in a green tube in "Black"
