Whats the best mascara you've ever used??

Recommended Posts

Ok... this is brand spanking new on the market, but it is in the new Sephora catalouge and it is called TexasLash by Cargo and it is awesome. It is full volume, but is not drying and doesn't flake or anything. I have been using it on some shoots lately and it is insane. Hardly have to retouch and doesn't look clumpy/spidery looking at all! I highly recommend, go try it on 1 eye at sephora and compare to what you love... you may have to switch like me!

I have long eyelashes, but they are not very thick. Avon Extreme Volume, Max Factor 2000 Calorie and Bourjois Volume Glamour worked best form me.

Too Faced Lash Injection. I've tried others on recommendation on here. Especially the drug store brands. Ew. I cant stand mascara that isnt waterproof. Ugh.

I love the Too Faced Lash Injection. Makes my lashes look super long. And really binds the false lashes to my own to make them look more natural.

All of the mascara that I've tried has pretty much been the same. I've never find a mascara that makes me go "wow, I love this stuff". I think I have retarded eyelash = (

I agree. They all contain basically the same ingredients anyway.

Does anyone else think that mascara smells like shoe polish?

I digress.

I think on this thread before I said that I love Dejavu Fiberwig. Well, I do! But, while in Chicago the other day, as a present to myself for having to sit on the train for 4.5 hours due to an electrical outage, I went to Sephora and tried Diorshow mascara. I was underwhelmed. I then went to Nordstrom to try YSL Faux Clis and I bought it. I really liked it. My only complaint is that it might flake off too much for me. I really don't know because I didn't experiment with it. I do know that it is NOT waterproof and I DO know that it smudged when I rubbed my eye. But I had no other makeup on that day and I was having really bad contractions and didn't care what I looked like so I wasn't careful in not touching my face or my hair excessively. So, will report back when I'm in a better frame of mind smile.gif

Warmly,

Brandi

P.S. Still love the Dejavu Fiberwig!

    • I am putting more emphasis on the undereye area. I'm 35 and my skin needs more moisturizing. Twice a day I apply eye serum under eyes, and I never miss this ritual as after several weeks of continuous use I see amazing results: moisturized skin and absolutely no puffiness under eyes. I am using this one from Verneso https://www.amazon.com/s?k=eye+cream&hidden-keywords=B07PPW6J7M&ref=nb_sb_noss_1 Many undereye serums dry out the undereye area and this results in fine lines and wrinkles. Verneso bee venom eye serum contains peptides, vitamins A and E as well as Shea Butter which rejuvenate, tighten and smoothen the undereye area. For me it's the best undereye serum, and I will definetly buy one more bottle during this Amazon Prime Day.
