A friends wedding is coming up in a few months. I've decided to go for a very tropical 1950's look, complete with the right hair and makeup. I plan to use a nice big flower over my ear, but I'm still trying to figure out the hairstyle as my hair is quite long.

I'm a natural redhead, my hair is VERY healthy and reaches about my tail bone. There's layers up front that start a bit beyond chin level. It's quite thick, straight but prone to a slight wave when it's happy. I'm thinking a very classy, unique style that isn't over done. Any suggestions? I'm hair impaired so I might just ask a hair stylist friend.
