FOTD - June 26th 2008

Hi can't believe I am first. Ok actually i hadn't really planned on doing a FOTD or even dressing for that matter. I drove home the other day by a different route that took me past the Salvation Army. For some reason I decided to stop and I fell in love with this white dress that was on a manikin in the window. I went in to check it out and found out it was only $10! I thought it might actually fit me too. So I proceeded to undress the manikin in the story (sorry) and went into the dressing room and tried it on. It fit so i bought it and of course I had to try it on with makeup and wig to full effect. Let me know what you think.

Makeup eyes are mostly Maybelline (not my favorite but i was going for a brown pallette), lips are Max Factor. Foundation Revlon, and yes I have kind of bad sunburn and not entirely even application. Always room for improvement.





I am trying to smile more.

I just got this scarf too. Love the lip color and this was the first time i ever used a brush to apply.

I love that colour of lipstick and your choice of eyeshadows really makes your eyes pop.

I did a green look today that i wasnt too happy with. It looks a bit rushed and messy.











I also got my 120 colour palette today . 1 colour is broken which was a bit disappointing but its only a black so i'm not gonna bother complaining about that. The colours are so bright. I can't wait to try it out.

Here's my FOTD. It's actually my first ever FOTD. I'm not particularly happy with it. The eyes coould have been much better but I was really just playing around so I'm not too bothered. Just did it to pass some time as I'm stuck in feeling unwell.

The picture isn't great. It looked fine on my phone but seems a bit washed out now that I've uploaded it to the computer. It's making me look much paler than usual. Could just be the screen on this laptop though. Can someone let me know how it's showing up on their screen? I have no idea why it's so crappy now that I've put it on the PC.

MAC Fluidline in 'Blacktrack'

Lancome Hypnose Waterproof Mascara

No. 17 Ultimate Volume Lip Gloss (again not sure of the shade cause the sticker has come off but it's a pale pink with a slight shimmer)

Thankyou! The brand i mostly use is Barry M Dazzle Dusts. It's a drug store brand that you can buy from Superdrug in the UK. I'm not sure if you can get it in the US. I also use Famous by Sue Moxley quite often. The past 2 looks i did i didn't use a base, i just used concealer from tesco's make-up range, but I also often use a big chunky Barry M white pencil which makes a wonderful base.
