MUFE HD Foundation!!! Sent from the HEAVEN

Recommended Posts

I have heard such awesome reviews about this product. I think when I run out of my Lancome foundation samples I am going to order this. I don't know if I am a 115 or 117 though. I think the 117 because I have yellow undertones, but does that mean the foundation is going to make me look yellow too? Or would the pink undertones in the 115 make me look less yellow?

I don't know, and I don't have a Sephora within 3 hours or 100 beauty points, lol.

Hi there, I am a newbie here and just read this and jumped on getting the deluxe sample from Sephora. I was going to order the HD finishing powder anyway. I tried it and loved it. It totally makes pores disappear.

I got a sample and I really like it! It's driving me nuts because the 4 closest Sephoras to me haven't restocked my color yet!

If you go to the MUFE website it lists all the shades and which primer to use based on your skintone or desired result (ex: caramel to warm the complexion, neutral to even out skintone, yellow to brighten, ect.) And it's safe for sensitive skin, doesn't clog pores, weigh heavy and the powder is talc free so you won't dry out.

Where did you get your sample from?

Sephora gave me a big sample... I would think most of them will if they have your shade. It's hard for them to keep all of the shades in stock. When I got mine the girl said I was lucky... because they had just about every shade.

I'm really jealouse because I have no known way of getting ANY makeup from MUFE... :/ I live in sweden and the nearest shop is in finland.. and there is an ocean inbetween lol

I'm 17 and a guy and I have oily skin with acne and so on and I still have not found a really good foundation yet.. and I've Dior forever and Make up Store matt foundation.. (popular swedish brand) So I guess I'll just have to wait to see if some big department store in Stockholm get's MUFE.. lol :P

Bella is right, I got it from Sephora. The first time I went, they were out of my color, so the SA gave me a sample to try.

When u mean not getting great results, do u mean even coverage? streaks?

I use my MAC 190 brush and it works fine for me. The 187 is great too. I use it on my nose and chin for the hard to reach areas to get better even coverage.

I have HD foundation in 128 and I love it! smile.gif

Glad to see others are enjoying MUFE products. I've been using their stuff since 2002! On photoshoots the HD powder is so awesome that I can use it with other foundations besides their HD.

Hi Kathy:

The trick with the powder is to use very little; and make sure your face isn't too dry after applying your foundation and concealer. If it is, just lightly spritz your face with water, wait a few seconds, then apply the powder. Again very little powder. The water activates the powder.

Hope this helps. cheer2.gif

I absolutely LOVE the HD powder--I was so thrilled to find a powder that softly mattifies without any color at all yet doesn't make me look ghosty! Of course, after the fact I discovered something even better: you can buy similarly fine-milled silica powder really cheap online! Since that's all the HD powder is, I plan on just buying the pure silica powder when I run out of the MUFE--save myself a ton of money, and still have that miracle no-color, matte finish!

All I use for my face is MUFE (excluding blushes) and I effen love it! I never used to like liquid foundation cause I felt it always looked very cakey and weird on me no matter the brand. I have tried MAC SSF, Estee Lauder DW .. and various others and they were always a miss. But after hearing all the rave reviews I decided to give MUFE HD foundation a try so I stopped by my local Sephora and got a small sample in shade#127, went home... applied it the next morning (with my MAC 187) paired with the MUFE primer in 01 and the HD Microfinish powder I had previously bought and omg my face totally looks airbrushed like no other! That's saying a lot considering I have oily/combo skin and pretty noticeable pores. It literally made me look PORELESS haha. I went back to Sephora the next day and brought the full size smile.gif It's amazing, seriously guys. This from a girl who HATES wearing liquid foundation and always USED to opt for mineral powder instead. The foundation lasts ALL day and doesn't make me look cakey or "unnatural" at all. I love that it has a natural finish. I also love their Full Cover concealer... covers like a dream!

    • No, it does not affect my self-esteem either way.  Tbh I feel most confident when I'm not wearing makeup.  Perhaps makeup application can be seen by many women as a form of self-care but it's actually more hygienic not to wear it often (sounds weird but it's true), and imo women are coerced into its application by jobs, other women, and men.  Women are pressured to perform femininity or they will be met with violence, which doesn't stop at makeup application (which is a skill not an art form).
    • Week 2 of my new plan, with my new concept of time as two mini work weeks (Mon-Wed and Fri-Sat) and two mini weekends (Thursday and Sunday). I think this will help with not getting as tired during the work week or bored during the weekends. Being bored during the weekends leads to spending on shopping or eating! I like the new plan so far.  I finished my full sized Yves Rocher White Botanical Cleanser. That's the White Botanical Cleanser and Toner done, and a few days of Cream left. The goal for the rest of July is to use that cream up along with one pack of 20 face cleansing cloths.  I have a nine month supply of cleanser and cleansing cloths to finish.
