Cutting your own Christmas Tree?

Who goes out and cuts their own tree? We have been going to the same place for years... A friend who owns a tree farm and takes everyone into the fields with a tractor and wagon... dress's up in victorian period clothes... heres a couple photos..

Although i prefer natural trees, with my cat (100% genuine stupid/extremely curious/clumsy cat) it's impossible to have one, sowe get the articifial version (and she licks it... xD).

do you bring a measuring tape to make sure it's not too tall!!

LOL I actually forgot to take it so I measured it aginst the son!!
