Things that make you smile.

I just thought with everyones busy schedules etc that quite often we forget the little things that make you smile. Some of mine are

1. When my cat uses my hand as a Pillow and falls asleep while purring.

2. When you go out of your way to do something nice for someone and they truly appreciate it.

3. When my Favorite Youtubers upload a new Video.

4. When I let someone in on the road and they wave thank you. Quite often People just don't do that.

I would love to hear some of yours

These are in no particular order:

1. When Brandon, my boyfriend, tells me he is proud of me.

2. When my guild downs a new raid boss. (WoW)

3. When my puppy jumps on my lap and licks my face.

4. When the weather outside is about 50 and sunny. Beautiful weather.

5. When I make the perfectly honey-sweetened cup of Green Tea.

If/when I think of more I'll edit Great post idea btw..

1. When my boyfriends complements me with no trigger from me~

2. When I find a great song to listen to that I discovered on my own

3. When me and my friends correctly quote movies.

4. When I find that a pizzeria is serving Greek Pizza

4. When I beat Half Life

1. new OPI and essie collections! i get so unbelievably excited lol

2. when me and my boyfriend are just messing around, wrestling around with each other

3. nice food

• My baby cousin, he's going to be a little superstar!

1. When I come home from work and my dogs are just SO excited to see me.

2. When I see I have a new text message on my phone.

3. When I check the letterbox and there's mail for me.

4. When I come home from work and there's a package on my bed.

5. When strangers smile at me or say hello when they walk past.

6. Slipping into a new sexy pair of heels.

7. The smell of my coffee in the morning.

8. logging onto MUT and seeing I have a visitors comment or private message

9. Knowing that no matter how small the treatment, I have made a clients day.

10. Seeing this thread and reading all the things that make my MUT friends smile

1. Morning and evening kiss from my oh

2. When I look a total mess first thing and Alex says i look gorgeous!

3. My kitty Jake when he rubs his face on mine when I get in from work.

4 My little sister ! Just makes me smile

These are all so great!

Ok, I have thought of a few more.

Flicking through the channels and finding one of them is playing one of my fave shows

After I finish a scrapbooking page I am particularly proud of

finding my cat snuggled up next to me

Finally getting that long awaited package, makeup or otherwise from ebay or some randoms blog sale

1. my cat's schemes in order to sleep on my desk or my legs, she thinks she's so clever.

2. receiving an order i have placed, that always makes my day (especially when my cat tries to fit into every box she sees !)

3.a sky, blue, with innocent white clouds. I love water, but i hate the rain !

4.baking and then eating sweet stuff, especially cupcakes.

5. when i get that look in the street "see, that girl wears bright blue on her eyes !"

1. When my son tells me he loves me or gives me a kiss out of nowhere just because.

2. When my son drops what he's doing and runs to give me a huge hug telling me he missed me when I get home.

3. When my husband says he's proud of me and supports me in what I do.

4. When I order something from a fellow mut'er and they've stuck an extra goodie or two (very sweet!)

5. When I see graying elderly couples and they're still holding hands and giggling like kids.

6. When clients specifically ask for me and let me know that they recommend me to everyone they know.

7. When I get a good grade in class showing my hard studying has paid off.

8. When I make a snappy comeback when someone tries to get smart with me and it shuts them off (rarely do I say what I really want to at the time.)

9. When I listen to the perfect song in my relaxing mood and let my mind wonder.

This thread made me smile .

I have one particular memory of my friend, Caitlin. My boyfriend, Brandon, my friends Caitlin and Collin (married), and I went out to olive garden the other night. Well I spent a little extra time on my eyes that night and it made my day when my boyfriend reached over, took my hand, looked into my eyes and said "You look very beautiful tonight. Your eyes are so green." And right in the middle of that caitlin looks over and goes "Elise! This wine is so yummy!" She then realized we just had a moment and she puts her hand over her mouth and her eyes got all wide and she goes "OMG! I JUST RUINED YOUR MOMENT! I'm so sorry!!"

I just about wet my britches I was laughing so hard. It was so cute and I didn't even mind our moment got 'ruined' because it was the thought that counted and her wide-eyed expression was so adorable. Everytime I think of that moment it makes me smile no matter if I'm having a good day or bad.
