No foundation = lasting matte face!!!!!

Sooooooo...this weekend I spent by my best friend. Unfortunately I forgot my foundation (oh the horror) and she does not wear makeup, so I had no backup. I put on my L'oreal Studio perfecting base, concealer and powder. Who would have thought that without my foundation, I would remain matte for most of the day (except for a lil on my T-zone)...who would have thought????

I tried it again the next day, wha la!!! Same outcome. Today I am doing much more running around as I am at the office, so let's see how it turns out Any of you usually do this?

Yeah! I have used just primer, concealer and powder and it does look nice... Too bad my skin is usually so bad that I need foundation to hide it...

I bought a mattifying moisturizer so it does its job if i don't apply foundation. Sadly my skin looks so uneven on workdays, i apply makeup, even if it's just foundation.

This sounds like a good tip! I have yet to find a mattifying base that I like.
