She may play the once mean girl Quinn Fabray on FOX’s hit television show Glee, but Dianna Agron is so good it hurts when it comes to style and beauty. On Monday night, she joined other stars like Taylor Swift at the Ripple for Hope charity event in a gorgeous, ruffled Dolce & Gabbana dress.
In this edition of Get the Look, I’ll walk you through your makeup and hair routine to get Dianna’s look.
Dianna proved that the cat eye is still in style by using a wing eyeliner effect to really make her eyes pop. To get the same effect, pick out your blackest, darkest eye-liner, and apply as you normally would – don’t be afraid to be a little heavy handed! Next, create a double winged effect by slowly drawing one line as a straight extension of the line you’ve already created and another line above this one that angles up.
Cat eyes can be tricky, so if you’ve never done one before, make sure you go very slowly. Some members even recommend using a bit of scotch tape as a guide.
Make your lips pop like Dianna’s by using a reddish-purple lipstick! The color is very in style right now, and it can look good on almost anyone! Need a recommendation? Try MAC Pro Lipstick in Full Fuchsia!
Applying lip stick may seem easy, but remember, there is an art to it! Use this helpful video tutorial to make sure your lips look fun and fresh all night long!
What drew me to Dianna Agron’s picture was how sweet and flirty her hair looked! To get the same style, use your hair to create a simple french twist. If you have no idea how to do one, use these helpful tutorials instead. (A video is so much more useful than written words!) Instead of pinning the ends into the twist, curl the tips and arrange them at the crown of your hair, pinning and using hair spray as needed.
Dianna’s headband was my favorite part of this look. You can get your own flower headband from Forever 21 for cheap!
