The Benefits of Dry Brushing

Dry Brushing eliminates cellulite, cleanses the lymphatic structure, eliminate dead skin coatings, makes the immune system stronger, stimulates the hormone and oil producing glands; tightens the skin to prevent aging, makes the quality of your muscles better, stimulates circulation, enhances the performance of the nervous system, aids digestion and most of all, it is considered the simplest and cheapest way to rejuvenate your skin.

They say it’s best to brush the skin in the morning before you shower, but allow the room to steam up to improve the exfoliation. Use a soft brush or bath mitts made from natural fibres as they’re softer on your skin.

Start with light strokes until your body gets used to the sensation. Slowly you can build up to more vigorous brushing.

– Start at the soles of your feet & continue up your ankles, calves, thighs, hips and buttocks – paying extra attention to cellulite areas.

– Brush the stomach, abdomen, and chest (being gentle around the tender areas).

– Proceed to the back (a handled brush will be needed for the hard to reach areas or ask a friend to do it!), then the  back of neck.

– Then brush each hand working up the arm to the shoulders.

Brush once a day on dry skin and follow with a hot and cold shower. Once you do this consistently over a period of a few months, you will notice the benefits of the dry skin brushing. The benefits will be so noticeable, and you will miss it if you forget to brush for a couple of days!!
