At the moment, what's your fave gloss?

I know you can never ever choose just one item. But for fun, right at this very instant, what would you say your fave lipgloss is? Or lipstick if you don't wear gloss. I know your answer will change in two days (or two minutes) but just pick one! Mine would have to be Revlon SL gloss in Highbeam Tan. It's one of the very few non-pink glosses I have and I loooove it! It's a gorgeous, sheer, bronzy peach. And I love the texture of the SL glosses. I don't even feel like I'm wearing gloss!

I use MAC Nico &Viva Glam V most often but I'm not a huge gloss fan

Ok, maybe that's not so hard to do. But they are great!

MAC's Lip Lustre in Sinnamon is my current fave. I've been trying to get my hands on Instant Gold, but it's always sold out whenever I'm at the counter/pro store. Boo!

Right now my favorite gloss is a Too Faced kiss stick in Stolen Kiss. Awesome lipgloss! Yall should definitely try it

Allison, Sinnamon is a taupe/beige color, with a hint of gold (without being too sparkly). The color goes on sheer and gives a nice glossy shine. I like wearing it alone or with a lip pencil like MAC's Spice. I even once wore it over a deep true red lipstick, to tone the red. I like Lustre Glass a lot -- not as sticky as Lipglass and has a great applicator brush. Have you tried any of the other shades?

My current fave is Paul&Joe Caramel Rose. Great texture and not too sticky! The color is pretty natural looking, a slightly shimmery rose color. This is my first Paul&Joe purchase, and I'm loving it!

Hey TinyDancer. How are the LORAC lip polishes? I've been wanting to try one for a while now but just haven't got around to it. I like the packaging because it almost looks like a nail polish container when it is really a lipgloss!

I really like it. Its a very wet look and the colors are great. It has a minty smell to it which is OK. The only problem with it is that it can leak a bit, so I have to be really careful if I pop it in my purse. Here's a good pic that I found on MUA <img src="http://img34.photobucket.com/albums/v102/kimcinvb/Makeup/LORAC_Lip_Polish.jpg"> Originally Posted by FairyRave Hey TinyDancer. My Chanel Glossimers get the most wear because of their texture and color range. I also love that they aren't fragranced. I'm one of the minority that doesn't like vanilla-scented glosses.

If forced to decide at this moment, I'd go with MAC lustreglass in ornamental. Great thread---I'm a bit of gloss junkie myself.

Okay, even though I'm in love with Chanel Glossimers, I have to report that I found a great gloss at Sally Beauty Supply. Palladio makes a sheer gloss called Herbal Lip Gloss that gives great shine and has a wonderful, slightly tacky texture. These are very similar in texture to MAC Lipglass, and even one that looks like C-Thru is called See Thru. Hmmm... I bought Dreamy, a sheer neutral rose with lots of fine rose micro-shimmer. On my lips it's a soft YLBB look and not glittery or frosty at all. With lipliner it's polished and stunning! The colors are definitely on the sheer side but are pretty on, long-lasting, very shiny and hydrating. For $3.99, it's a bargain! I'm going out this week to get more.

Just thought I'd share!

Edited to say that this is the reformulated version. The new names are: Clear, Champagne, See Thru, Mocha Cream, Iced Rose, Sheer Bronze, Dreamy, Passion Pink, Pinkee, Pearly Punch, Raisin and Golden Copper.

Hey, it's a fellow Floridian! And one from Tampa at that.

Welcome, WonderStruck!

my fave lipgloss of the moment is Wonderstuck fr MAC. It's my first lustreglass among my many MAC lipglass collection. The difference is lustreglass texture is lighter, glossier and color is more transparent. I love MAC lustreglass so much that I went on to buy Flusterose. I want more!!!

I love Mark's (MeetMark by Avon) new GlossBlossom Ripening Lip Tint - It's my new favorite gloss/tint! I bought one as a demo when they first came out, and then fell in love! It's description is as follows:

glossblossom.jpg

With our special technology, this lip gloss starts out clear and shiny, then ripens to a juicy pink tint (customized just for you!) upon application. Leaves lips tinted with an alluring pink tone that lasts even after the gloss is gone. Reapply to add gloss and rejuvenate color. Lightly fragranced. Angled applicator tip makes applying super-easy.

I'm so sad --- MAC pulled their Lustreglass from stores/counters!

A rep told me that the packaging is being re-designed to be more sturdy (apparently the screw caps kept breaking on the tubes). I guess I'll have to use what I have sparingly for the next few months. *sigh*....
