After looking out for 20-40's hairstyles (I've become fascinated with giving myself a pompador daily but was looking for new ideas) I found this thing "rag curls" and so I decided to try it out!

Then I made some rags (which was harder than I thought it would be) and did it(also harder than I thought it would be)!
Here I am all Raggedy Ann, last night.
I woke up with some of them falling out and some of them still very tight (actually my arms got tired so they were all different.. plus i got better at it from the left to the right)
So now what am I supposed to do with this insanely curly hair?
I know.. add some 40s ish makeup!
First the eyes
All cheap stuff except the Mascara which is Almay Triple Effect becuase its the only thing my eyes don't itch with. Liner is only on the top lid and the brows are darkened ( I intentionally used the darker color-its the style) a little bit. I'd love to have some tips on this if anyone feels so inclined. And YES the brows are a bit mangey looking, I'm trying not to pluck them becuase I suck at it and they looked really good before I did it.I can't afford a salon!
The rest isn't really that much. Some loose powder, some cheap lip liner (which I also used as blush) and lip gloss (which they prolly didnt use but oh well)
And here I am after getting home from work with no comments preparing to make a thread where I think people might actually be interested! haha!
I know, its not much makeup but mostly the hair is what makes the face cool.
